It should have bothered many people. China is rich in tourism resources, and there are many places to visit, such as the ancient town tour. In recent years, the ancient town tour has become more and more popular, and the most typical one should be the ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River to feel the charm of the ancient town. Next, I will introduce you to an ancient town, and you can choose to visit it when you travel.
This ancient town is Linhuan Ancient Town, also known as Ancient Tea Town, which is located in the south-central part of Suixi County, Huaibei City, Anhui Province. It is an ancient town with a history of thousands of years. Why is it called Linhuan Ancient Town? It is called Linhuan because Linhuan city is built with water. The ancient town once won the honorary titles of "Famous Historical and Cultural Town in Anhui Province", "Hometown of Folk Culture and Art in China" and "Tourism Town with Characteristic Landscape in Anhui Province", and many tourists come to visit it every year. So what tourist attractions are there in the ancient town?
The first place is Linhuan Ancient City, which is a national key cultural relic protection unit. There is a gate in the southeast and northwest of the ancient city, and there are turrets in the four corners. There are six beacon towers in Xicheng, three beacon towers in Dongcheng, and no beacon towers in Nancheng and Beicheng. The ancient city faces water in all directions, with moats in the north and east, Hui River in the south and trenches in the west. As an ancient city, there must be defensive measures, such as the ancient city wall. In addition to the ancient city wall, there are many supporting military facilities and various buildings above the city wall.
The second place is Wenchang Palace, the former site of the General Front Committee of Huaihai Campaign and a red tourist attraction. The building was built in the Tang Dynasty, and after many times of construction, the Wenchang Palace is now preserved with blue bricks, gray tiles and slope top structure. Wenchang Palace covers a total area of 5,436 square meters. There are three contents in the museum: the original site of the General Front Committee, historical materials and physical objects, which show people the red history and collect more than 2 revolutionary cultural relics.
The third place is the Town God Temple, which is located in the middle of Linhuan Ancient City. It was built during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng and Gengshen in Qing Dynasty. Today, the remaining Town God Temple is a courtyard house with distinctive architecture and decoration, with small blue bricks, checkered doors and windows, octagonal stone eaves columns, lotus flowers on the base and dragon and phoenix patterns on the wind board. However, it is a pity that the original murals in the main hall have been damaged and cannot be enjoyed.
The fourth place is Linhuan Teahouse. Linhuan tea originated in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and teahouses appeared in the Tang Dynasty. Most teahouses were built near the street, and the buildings were mostly blue bricks, small tiles and cornices, with the architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now there are teahouses here, including Yixin Teahouse, Nange Teahouse and Huaihai Teahouse. If you are tired of playing, you can choose a teahouse to sit down and drink tea, calm down and listen to music.
