What are the preferential treatments for officers' families?

Article 37 Officers shall implement the system of post-grade salary and regular capital increase, enjoy allowances and subsidies in accordance with the relevant regulations of the state and the army, and make timely adjustments with the development of the national economy. Specific standards and measures shall be formulated by the Central Military Commission (CMC).
Officers are paid as usual during training, vacation, medical treatment and rest, as well as during the period to be assigned according to regulations.

Article 40 Officers have the right to take vacations. Leaders at higher levels shall arrange annual leave for officers in accordance with regulations.

Article 41 Family members of officers enjoy preferential treatment from the state and society in joining the army, obtaining employment, changing jobs and educating their children.
If an officer's family members have the conditions to join the army, their spouses, minor children and children without independent living ability can join the army with the approval of the political organs of units above the division (brigade) level. If they are rural hukou, they will be converted into urban hukou.
If troops are relocated or officers are transferred, the dependents of the army can be transferred at will.
Officers who have reached the age of 50 and have no children may transfer their working children to the officer's place. If the transferred children are married, their spouses, minor children and children without independent living ability can move with them.
The employment and job transfer of family members of army officers, children of army officers and their spouses shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State Council and the Central Military Commission (CMC).
