Beijing Yanjiao is a town under the jurisdiction of Xishi District, Sanhe City, Hebei Province. It is located in the border triangle between Hebei and Beijing. It borders Gaolou Town, Sanhe City to the north, and Lucheng Town, Xiji Town and Songzhuang, Tongzhou District, Beijing to the west. The town faces each other across the Chaobai River. The Beijing-Qinhuangdao Railway and the Beijing-Harbin Highway traverse from east to west, with a total area of about 108 square kilometers.
Yanjiao got its name from the fact that it was located on the outskirts of Yan State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It has a history of more than 3,000 years and has the reputation of "the imperial palace at the feet of the emperor".
