Related legends or history about Liu Bowen's search for his master, the more detailed the better
I once read a story about Liu Bowen’s three searches for his heroine. I’ll tell you if it’s useful:
One year, Liu Bowen read a book in a bookstore. A rare military book that opens up new ideas. He analyzed the general trend of the world at that time and knew that the Yuan Dynasty was about to run out of power and would soon be replaced by a new generation. The new ruler would appear among the people. "With all the strategies in mind, he sells them to the emperor's family." He was determined to travel around the world to find someone like Liu Bei, and he would be an adviser like Zhuge Liang, helping him conquer the country and dominate the world.
Liu Bowen put on Taoist robes, pretended to be a "Feng Shui gentleman", and wandered around the world. When we arrived in Kuaiji, which is today's Shaoxing and Zhuji areas in Zhejiang, there was a very famous man named Wang Mian. Wang Mian was born in poverty. He herded cattle during the day and stayed in the temple at night, studying under the ever-burning lamp. He was familiar with the art of war and was good at painting plum blossoms with great style. People from all over the country said that he was a great person.
Liu Bowen talked with Wang Mian and felt that this man was full of knowledge and ambitious. However, it is not easy to conquer the world. Wang Mian always seems to be missing something. One day, Liu Bowen asked Wang Mian to go for a walk in the bamboo forest. I don't know who set off a firecracker outside the bamboo forest. Wang Mian suddenly heard a loud "bang" and was unprepared and startled. When Liu Bowen saw Wang Mian trembling slightly, he let out a long sigh. Wang Mian asked him why he sighed, but he refused to tell.
As soon as the fish belly white was served the next day, Liu Bowen said goodbye and left Kuaiji. His conclusion to Wang Mian was: "I am not brave enough."
Liu Bowen went to Haichang again, which is today's Haining area in Zhejiang. There was Jia Ming there, who was also a well-known figure. He has gathered a group of people under him, who are both civilized and military, and they are somewhat ready to conquer the world.
Jia Ming built a new house. The hall had just been painted and the smell was very strong. Liu Bowen was invited into the hall and vomited as soon as he sat down. When Jia Ming saw it, he felt angry and angry. He stood up and went back to the back hall without saying a polite word. After a while, a group of family members came out, flushing and washing. They were so busy that no one even paid attention to this guest who came from afar.
Liu Bowen frowned, shook his head, and left. His conclusion about Jia Ming was: "The amount is too small."
Liu Bowen could not find capable people in the south of the Yangtze River, so he crossed the Yangtze River and went all the way north to Haozhou, which is today's Fengyang area in Anhui Province. At first glance, we can see that this place is very different from the south. The pedestrians walking on the road are all sturdy and energetic; they treat others very generously. Once, Liu Bowen deliberately went to a meat stall to buy meat, bargained with the meat seller, and cut off a piece of meat to ask for more meat. The butcher didn't say anything. He chopped off a big piece and threw it on the butcher's anvil. He said, "Here!" He didn't mention any more money and went to take care of other customers.
Liu Bowen, thinking to himself: The people in this place are courageous, and the "Liu Bei" who made great achievements must be here. So, he carefully investigated there, and finally found Zhu Yuanzhang.
Zhu Yuanzhang found Liu Bowen, like a tiger gaining wings; and Liu Bowen found Zhu Yuanzhang as a refuge, like a phoenix perched on a sycamore branch. Zhu Yuanzhang and Liu Bowen worked together to overthrow the Yuan Dynasty and establish the new Zhu Ming Dynasty.
