Is Nanjianliang really like tearing down a temple?
Nanjian Liangzhen Temple will not be demolished. Xiangzhen Temple is located in Nanjianliang Village, Shijiazhuang City. According to the old people in the village, this temple was an earthen castle temple in the early days of liberation. There are not many stone tablets left in the temple, and the age is endless. According to the inscription, this temple was built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. Luquan county annals also have related records. Before liberation, due to the war, the main hall was demolished and turned into a watchtower. Later, influenced by the ethos of "changing temples to promote learning", it was once converted into a school. Before liberation, there was no monk presiding. After the Cultural Revolution, the temple remains disappeared and the inscriptions were buried underground and destroyed. Regarding the village custom of Nanjianliang, the temple fair is held on June 6th every year, which has a very wide influence. It is the largest temple fair in Shijiazhuang and has far-reaching influence in Shanxi. During the temple fair every year, the railway will open an additional train for the temple fair.
