Yujiacun, also known as Stone Village, has a history of more than 500 years. Yu Qian, the national hero of the Ming Dynasty, was responsible for the great political changes of the Ming Dynasty in China during the "Seizing the Gate Rebellion" from 1449 to 1457 AD. Yu Qian, an important figure in the "Seizing the Gate Rebellion", was originally from Zhejiang. After he was killed, his descendants They fled to the Taihang Mountains in Jingxing, west of Shijiazhuang, and this is where today's Yujia Stone Village came into being.
The geographical location of Shitou Village can be described as unique. "You can't see the village until you reach the entrance of the village." Because this village is built in a small basin surrounded by mountains with less than one square mile in the middle, and the roads are all at the foot of the mountains. There are six streets, seven lanes and eighteen alleys in the village, criss-crossing and twisting. Each street is paved with rubble. The streets are connected by houses, and the houses are aligned with the streets. The planning is orderly, uneven and full of poetry and painting. Living here is stable, calm and peaceful, which can be called a real "feng shui treasure land". The village has more than 4,000 stone houses, more than 3,700 meters of stone streets, more than 1,000 stone wells and pits, more than 2,000 acres of stone terraces, more than 2,000 stone utensils, and more than 200 stone tablets (dozens of which still exist). , is a veritable stone village.
Zhengding
The ancient city of Zhengding is located 15 kilometers north of Shijiazhuang City, the capital of Hebei Province. Historically, it was once known as the "Three Heroic Towns in the North" together with Baoding and Beijing. The south gate is still embedded in the Shi'e, which has the "Three Passes of Heroic Town", Zhengding is the hometown of Zhao Zilong, the famous general of the Three Kingdoms, and the hometown of Cao Bin, the ancestor of Cao Xueqin. The long history has left the ancient city with splendid and unique cultural attractions and historic sites. It is known as "three mountains are missing, nine bridges are missing, nine floors, four towers, eight temples, and twenty-four gold-medal towers". Although it has experienced dynasty changes and wind and rain erosion, there are still many cultural relics and historic sites in the ancient city such as Longxing Temple, Linji Temple, Kaiyuan Pagoda, Lingxiao Pagoda, Hua Pagoda, and Ancient Confucian Temple. Among them, the famous Longxing Temple is a large-scale, majestic and well-preserved ancient building complex. It was first built in 586 AD and has a history of more than 1,300 years. It is the same as the Cangzhou Lion, Dingzhou Tower, Zhao Zhouda Stone Bridge is known as the "Four Treasures" of Hebei.
Jiming Station
Jiming Station, also known as Jiming Mountain Station, is located at the foot of Jiming Mountain on the north bank of the Northwest Yang River in Huailai County, 140 kilometers away from Beijing. It was first built In 1219 of the Yuan Dynasty, Genghis Khan set up this "Station Chi" on the Western Expedition. In the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420), Jiming Post was re-expanded. It was the largest post station for Xuanhua Prefecture to enter the capital until 1913. The Beiyang government announced that it would "abolish the inns and open a postal service," and Jiming Post, an ancient inn, withdrew from the stage of history. Jiming Post once played an important role in my country's postal history. Its special strategic location made it a unique post. It is by far the largest, most complete and well-preserved ancient post station in China. There are post offices, general offices, mansions, horse racing stables, theaters, shops, etc. in the city. There are also 8 Gui temples, namely Yongning Temple, Dragon Temple, Baiyi Guanyin Temple, Caishi Temple, Guandi Temple, and Pu Temple. Ferry Temple, Mount Tai Palace, City God Temple. Among them, Yongning Temple is the earliest building in the post city, dating back more than 800 years. The murals left over from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the temples in Yicheng are still in color and lifelike. From the scale and layout of the temple, we can see the social trends of conversion of the three religions in Jimingyi at that time. Because the Holy Land of Rooster Cing is located on an important transportation road, it not only serves as a military and civilian post station, but also a gathering place for merchants. According to the inscriptions in the post city, there were 6 pawnshops in the post city, 9 businesses, 4 oil shops, teahouses, carriage and horse shops, etc. Jimingyi plays a very important role in the study of my country's ancient postal history, the development of social economy and the development of religion. After Jimingyi is introduced to the world, it will definitely fill a gap in the history of my country's postal development, and it will also occupy a place in the history of world postal services.
