Eight-ring knot method

The knotting method of the splayed ring is as follows:

First, the eight-character buckle method.

This method is common in field fishing, and has the advantages of stability, firmness, minimal tension loss, fast knotting speed, etc. It is very practical when used in the field, and its main steps are as follows.

1. Pass the knotted sub-line through the eight-character ring.

2. Make a slipknot through the eight-character ring sub-line.

3. Twist the knotted fishing line twice in parallel, and then pull the secondary line through the loose joint to tie the secondary line with the splayed ring.

Second, the fast binding method.

This method is often used in black pits and competitive fishing, and it is tied quickly, especially suitable for untwisted sub-lines. The main purpose is to quickly replace the auxiliary line while ensuring the tension value as much as possible. The main steps are as follows.

1. Pass the folded sub-line through the eight-character ring.

2. Snap between crossed and uncrossed sub-lines.

3. Pass the double-stranded sub-wire through the snap fastener again, and then tighten the sub-wire to fasten the sub-wire and the splay ring.

If the sub-line is not knotted, before tightening the sub-line, be sure to confirm the approximate hook distance of the double hooks, otherwise the double hooks are equidistant, which is funny.

Of course, in competitive fishing and black pit competitions, people prefer to use fast clip or fast pin, but this does not mean that the eight-character ring is out of date.

In black pits and competitive fishing, the target fish will weigh three to five kilograms, and no matter how big it is, it will not exceed six or seven kilograms. The water surface is clean and the bottom is mostly muddy. It would be nice to hang a pole rope.
