The origin of villa name

a villa, that is, a different occupation, is a place to enjoy life outside the house, and it is the second place rather than the first place. Tracing back to its origin, there is no clear time starting point. In ancient China, villas appeared very early, ranging from imperial palaces and princes' mansions to villas and manors of wealthy businessmen, landlords and gentry. The appearance of villas in foreign countries has a long history. In the modern sense, villas mainly inherit the development concept after the industrial revolution in foreign countries. According to the different geographical location and functions, it is divided into: mountain villa (including forest villa), waterfront villa (river, lake and sea), pasture villa (grassland), manor villa and so on.

truly speaking, the earliest villa in China is called another industry, and the so-called other meaning is second. The first residence in foreign countries is called house, and the second residence is called villa.

when villa first appeared in China, it was often translated into three kinds, sometimes it was called villa, sometimes it was called manor, and sometimes it was called castle. No matter how it was translated, it was synonymous with independent manor life abroad. When there are more villas, one manor and another manor are combined to form a manor area, which is the prototype of our villa area now. Compared with ordinary houses, villas have many differences except similar basic functions. Villa is a poetic house, which represents a certain ideal of human beings.
