China Naming Network - Eight-character fortune telling - Millennium Royal Temple-Shengshou Temple

Millennium Royal Temple-Shengshou Temple

The weather is not bad these days, the temperature is not high, and there is a cool breeze blowing from time to time. With some friends, we visited the famous Thousand Foot Pagoda of Shengshou Temple in Tashan, Xingyang. It was raining lightly when we went, but it didn't affect our interest at all, but added a little poetry.

When you climb the stairs, you can see green everywhere. The apricot trees on both sides of the road are lush and leafy. If apricot blossoms are in full bloom in spring, this must be the most beautiful place.

Next to the steps, there are two apricot trees covered with red ribbons. Xiao Mu's cards are also hung on the tree: Fu Guishu and Kangning Tree. Touching with your hands can bring you wealth and health.

A few steps forward, the three characters of Shengshou Temple stand out. The back of the stone tablet records the history of Shengshou Temple. By reading the inscription, I know that this temple is related to Cao.

All the way up, a stockade stands tall. Yuefo Village is vigorous and powerful. During the Xianfeng period, three words were inscribed, and the thick wall in the village seemed to tell a long history.

There are two stone tablets embedded in the thick house door, one from Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty and the other from Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. It has a history of hundreds of years.

Standing on the wall of Yuefo Village and looking down, I feel that my vision is very broad. The mountains in the distance and the trees nearby have a panoramic view.

Walking along the east side of Zhai Village, there is a Guandi Temple. On the front wall of Guandi Temple, there is an inscription on the completion of Guandi Temple. The calligraphy is beautiful and the content is good. A few people stopped to admire.

Out of Guandi Temple, continue to climb the steep slope. Standing on the steps and looking down, there is a kind of "once you climb to the top of the mountain and have a look, you will see that other mountains are short under the sky." .

Above the platform is Shengshou Temple. There are endless Buddhist music in the temple, and many people who believe in Buddhism recite scriptures here. In the southeast corner of the temple, there is a bronze bell.

On both sides of the steps in front of the temple, there is a tortoise and camel tablet, which records the story of Queen Cao and the story of Zhang Zhenlong rebuilding Shengshou Temple.

Through the temple, I finally saw the famous Thousand-legged Tower, just like "there is still half a face hidden behind her guitar from us", hidden behind a big apricot tree.

According to the Records of Xingyang County, "Song Renzong built a tower on Dazhou Mountain." It is called "thousands of feet Tower" because it is thousands of feet high from the foot of Dazhou to the top of the tower. Both the thousands of feet Tower and the Queen Cao Tower originated from a legend. Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty (reigned 1023-1063) chose a Cao woman as the queen at the foot of Dazhou Mountain. After a long time, the queen missed her hometown, and Renzong ordered her to build a tower in her hometown, so that she could see the tower in her hometown in Bianjing City to relieve her homesickness. The tower was not built for a long time because it had to be a few thousands of feet higher before the Queen could see it. As a result, many officials and craftsmen were demoted and killed. Later, a talent presented a plan to build a tower on the top of the continent with bricks carried by sheep. After the tower was completed, there were more than enough thousands of feet from the foot of the mountain to the top of the tower, and Queen Cao got her wish. Therefore, later generations will call this tower thousands of feet Tower or Cao Empress Tower.

After several laps around the tower, they walked out of Shengshou Temple along the path and came to the parking lot in front of Shengshou Temple.

Wandering in the parking lot for a while, we saw the words "Erxian Cave" and couldn't help but go down to the ravine through the stone archway to find out.

The mouth of the cave is very small, so one can only bend over to get in. The thick stone wall was polished. It seems that there are still many people coming down, but there is nothing inside.

Out of the hole, came to the mountain, there are several new houses. Xiao Wang, a fellow traveler, said that all these houses were built here by his friends. I'm going to do business here when the tourism industry is developed.

Near the house, we met the staff of Xingyang Cultural Relics Bureau. An enthusiastic comrade told us that the scenery under the mountain is good and suggested that we go down and have a look.

Sure enough, the scenery below is unique. There is a beautiful sky and a small fountain! Mr. Wei and Mr. Wang poked a stick into the spring's eye and the water came out. They also sent the video to the group, and several people had a good time.

Further down, it is the cliff. The stone wall is engraved with the words "unlimited scenery".

There is a natural "bedroom" on the stone wall, which can accommodate a person lying in it. Teacher Wei and I tried one after another and experienced the feeling of "sleeping Buddha". Our behavior made everyone laugh.

After playing enough below, we returned to the top of the mountain. Seeing wild leeks everywhere, we began to look for wild leeks again.

Walking along the mountain road in the southeast direction, an abrupt rock attracted us. Standing on the rock and looking down, you can see everything. The only regret is that, driven by economic interests, the eastern mountain has been hollowed out, leaving only bare stones, showing a sense of desolation.

We played until four or five o'clock in the afternoon, picked a big bag of wild leeks and left the thousands of feet Tower of Shengshou Temple with great interest.
