Where is Liu Bang's hometown?

When we mention Liu Bang, if someone talks about his hometown, many people's first reaction is of course Pei County, because he worked as a director of Surabaya, that is, in Pei County, and later he was called Pei Gong, so there is almost no doubt. But in fact, Liu Bang's real hometown is not in Pei County, to be precise, it is not in Pei County now. So, where is he from?

Gao zu Liu Bang (256 BC-June 1, 195 BC), born in a civilian family, was called Pei County in the history books, and became Pei Gong after he rebelled against the Qin Dynasty. Therefore, most people now think that Liu Bang's hometown is Pei County, Jiangsu Province. In fact, there was no mistake in that year, but it is debatable today.

Liu Bang was born in Zhongyangli, Fengyi, Pei County during the Warring States Period. This is now Fengxian County, where there is a Zhongyangli Street.

Pei was the county of Qin, which is now Pei county. Fengxian county was named Fengyi at that time, which was subordinate to Yupei. Therefore, Liu Bang can be said to be from Pei County. Only later, with the development of history, Fengxian has been separated from Peixian after several changes. Therefore, it is more appropriate to say that Liu Bang is a talent in Fengxian County.
