North Tower: China's "North Tower" is a national key cultural relics protection unit (announced in June 20001year). The North Tower confronts the East Tower and faces Shuifu Temple across the river. It was built in the third year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1573) and has a history of more than 400 years. It is said that people here "work hard and study hard, but their family is not rich and they are just young." Blame it on feng shui, and shake the humanities because of the propaganda of feng shui in Jianta Town. "This tower is 37 meters high and has seven floors. The eaves of several floors under the tower are all made of red bricks, and the tile surface is equipped with lotus patterns. Liao Yaoxiang Apartment: The apartment of former Kuomintang general Liao Yaoxiang (from Xinshao County) under the North Tower was once the 15th Middle School. Liao Yaoxiang (1906- 1968) built a mansion, barracks and ancillary facilities in the north tower, which basically maintained the style of combining Chinese and western styles. 1995 was announced as a district-level cultural relics protection unit.
Majiacun Mosque: It is the West Mosque in Shaoyang City. It was built in 1922, and was renovated in 2003 at a cost of150,000 yuan.
