What is the weather like in Antarctica?
Because of the cold climate, Antarctic precipitation can only fall in the form of ice graupel, which does not melt all the year round? The average annual precipitation here is only 55 mm, but due to the low temperature and weak evaporation, it accumulates year by year and finally forms a huge ice sheet?
The South Pole and the North Pole can only get a little sunlight because they are far away from the sun, and the white snow and ice reflect most of the sunlight back. What about the South? The arctic is the coldest place in the world? However, the average temperature in Antarctica is almost 30 degrees lower than that in the North Pole. So Antarctica is the coldest place on earth, with the average temperature as low as minus 32 degrees in midsummer and minus 68 degrees in midwinter? Arctic summer is close to zero, even in the middle of winter, it is only MINUS 36 degrees?
