Anecdotes of characters
Zhuge Liang is very popular in Sichuan, and residents in many parts of Sichuan still have the habit of wearing white cloth until modern times. It is said that this is Zhuge Liang Dai Xiao, which lasted for more than 1000 years.
In Gao Cheng's Ji Yuan of the Later Han Dynasty, it was recorded that Zhuge Liang could not cross the river when recruiting troops in the south. Meng Huo said that this is an evil spirit. As long as his head and livestock are sacrificed, it will be calm. However, Zhuge Liang thought it was cruel to use human heads, so he rubbed them with flour and mixed them with cattle, sheep and other meat to replace them, and named them steamed bread. It is said that steamed bread was invented by Zhang Fei during his expedition to Sichuan.
In addition, it is said that Zhuge Liang, as a military commander, asked the people about the planting method of wild vegetables named "Man Jing" at that time to solve the food problem, and ordered the soldiers to start planting Man Jing to supplement the military food. Later generations called this dish Zhuge Cai.
Legend has it that Zhuge Liang also has a son Zhuge Huai and a daughter Zhuge. During the Jin Dynasty, descendants of famous ministers of the Han Dynasty were recruited to work in Beijing, but Zhuge Huai refused, became self-sufficient and died at home. On the other hand, Zhuge Guo is said to have practiced and ascended to heaven by taking a smoke view in southwest Chengdu.
