The origin of Zhuo surname

First, there are three sources.

1, from the surname.

According to the Warring States Policy and Textual Research on Surnames, during the Warring States Period, after Dr. Chu wrote bamboo slips, Baoshan Chu bamboo slips wrote mourning slips, and after mourning the king of Chu, posthumous title took his surname.

2. According to Records of Historical Records and Biography of Huo Zhi, Shu Zhuo's ancestral home was Zhao, and he moved to Shu in the Qin Dynasty and became rich by smelting iron.

3, from other nationalities.

Tujia, Manchu, Gaoshan, Li, Tibetan, Mongolian, Korean and other ethnic groups all have Zhuo surnames.

Manchu Zhuoshi: Bole Zhuo Ke's family originated from Manchu, came from Jurchen Bole Zhuoke Department in Ming Dynasty, and belonged to the Han surname of the tribe. According to the historical records "Manchu Tongdian Clan Slightly Surnamed Manchu Eight Banners", the Manchu Bole Zhuo Ke, whose Manchu language is Borzikara, lived in Wula (now Yongji Wula Street in Jilin Province to Huifa River Estuary, Rafah River Basin, Shuangyang, including Wula City, Helin, Jinzhou, Sunzatai, Omo, Youha, Feifei and other places). Second, migration distribution, gathering place

Zhuo is a typical multi-ethnic and multi-source surname group with a population of about 443,000, accounting for 0.027% of the total population in China. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, in addition to this branch of Zhuoxing, Zhuoxing also moved northward to Nanyang, Henan and Lishi, Shanxi, and later flourished as Nanyang County and Xihe County of Zhuoxing.

In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhuo's family background in Nanyang was prominent and his scenery was incomparable, which greatly strengthened Zhuo's reputation as a county magistrate in Nanyang. During the reign of Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, Zhuo Rong, the eldest son of Zhuo Mao, became a doctor in Taizhong, and his second son, Zhuo Chong, moved to Pan Xiang Hou. -,-Hated that Zilong was hereditary, and was later destroyed because Zhuolong had no children, but Zhuo's prosperity in Nanyang was self-evident.

During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuo Shu, a Wu native, was recorded in the history books, indicating that Zhuo's surname once propagated in Jiangsu, south of the Yangtze River, and then gradually spread to southern provinces such as Anhui, Zhejiang and Hubei. Zhuo's surname moved to Guangdong earlier, which happened in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The genealogy of Chongzheng Tongren contains: Five Lakes Rebellion in Jin Dynasty, and the famous family in Central Plains ran southward. There are outstanding people in Guangdong, who are the secretariat of Jian 'an, and later because of their family background. It is an excellent proof that Zhuo moved south to Guangdong.

During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Zhuos were widely distributed in Shaanxi, Hebei and Shandong provinces in the north. At the end of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, Zhuo moved southward again on a large scale, and now there are Zhuo families in Jiangxi, Fujian and Hunan. By the Song Dynasty, Zhuo had become a typical southern surname, distributed in Rui 'an, Zhejiang, Linhai, Changle, Fujian, Putian, Huai 'an, Fuzhou, Yongchun, Jian 'ou, Nan 'an, Qionglai, Chengdu, Sichuan, Suzhou, Jiangsu and Nanhai, Guangdong. In the Yuan Dynasty, a Guangdong Zhuoxing broadcasting company moved to tengxian, Guangxi. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Zhuo's surname in Shanxi moved to Shandong, Henan, Hebei, Shaanxi, Jiangsu and other places. After a Henan branch moved to Zuzhuo, it moved to Zhangxiao Village, Wang Zhu Township, Guzhou Prefecture (now Puyang City). The Zhuo surnames of Puyang County, Changyuan County, County and Neihuang County all moved out.

At the end of the Ming Dynasty, after the Manchu army slaughtered Sichuan, there were Zhuo surnames of Sichuan and Chongqing lakes. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhuo's family gradually spread to Yunnan-Guizhou in the southwest, Taiwan Province Province in the southeast, Gansu-Ningxia and Northeast provinces in the northwest, and some Zhuo's family spread to Southeast Asia such as Vietnam. Today, Zhuo's family is widely distributed in China, especially in Sichuan, Fujian, Guangdong and Shaanxi provinces. At present, Zhuo's population ranks 256th in China.

Qin family in Nanyang County is located in Wanxian County (now Nanyang, Henan Province), and its jurisdiction is equivalent to Yexian and Neixiang, south of Xiong 'er Mountain in Henan Province, and Yingshan and Yunxian, north of Dahongshan Mountain in Hubei Province.

In Song Dynasty, Zhongxiaotang was celebrated by Zhuo Deqing, Minister of Household Affairs of Song Dynasty. Yuan soldiers forced the city, Deqing died and the right of the second discipline. Our tomb is called the tomb of father and son, and Zhuo's descendants are proud of it, so they take it as the name of the hall to commemorate this ancestor.
