Maintenance of festo cylinder
In use, the Festo cylinder block often deforms, thus destroying the geometric shape of the parts and increasing the relative position deviation of the mating surfaces. When the deformation exceeds the allowable limit, it will cause water leakage, air leakage and air cushion damage. The warping of the top surface of the cylinder block is mostly caused by uneven torque of the cylinder head bolts and bulging around the screw holes under the action of bolt tension. When installing, the torque should be tightened according to the regulations, and the bolts should not be tightened too tightly. After decomposition, clean the cylinder block with a soft brush and solvent. Scrape off all gasket materials on the cylinder surface. Use a precision ruler and thickness gauge to measure whether the contact surface of the cylinder head gasket is warped. The maximum warping value shall not exceed 0.05 mm If it exceeds the above range, it shall be trimmed. The method is as follows:
1.Festo The protrusion on the top surface of the cylinder block near the screw hole can be polished with an oilstone or filed with a fine file.
2. The uneven surface of the 2.Festo cylinder block in contact with the cylinder pad can be repaired by grinding and milling, or leveled with a shovel, or coated with grinding paste, and the cylinder head is buckled on the cylinder block for grinding. Visually inspect each cylinder for scratches. If deep scratches are found, all cylinders should be replaced with keys. The cylinder bore can be bell milled twice. If necessary, replace the cylinder block.
