Appreciation of Shigu Song

This passage, combined with the poet's own life experience, has both recollection and discussion, but more reveals a touch of melancholy and deep regret. Let's see how the author wrote it. There are detailed notes below.

That's true.

A poem on the stone drum

Han Yu

I often take this picture from the stone drum and hand it to me.

Advise me to try to make a stone drum song.

Du Fu is gone. Li Bai is dead,

What can my poor talent do for the stone drum?

Zhou, the whole world is boiling,

Emperor Xuandi was furious and waved his sacred spear.

Open his audience and accept all the tributes,

The king and lords came to him with sonorous weapons.

Very satisfied with Qiyang and Cheng,

The fallen birds and beasts were scattered three thousand miles away.

This discovery was recorded to inform the next generation.

These drums are cut from protruding cliffs and made of stone.

All the first-rate poets and craftsmen,

Has been created and chiseled-set in the mountains.

Washed by rain, baked by the sun, burned by wildfire,

Is there a ghost watching over you? oh

Where will he find the trace on this paper? ,

Loyal to the original, without the slightest change.

Deep meaning, obscure wording, difficult to understand,

The font does not belong to Li and Ke.

Time has not conquered the beauty of these letters,

A sharp sword can break a crab.

Dancing like a phoenix companion, hovering like an angel,

Trees like jade and coral, with staggered branches.

The golden rope and iron rope are locked and strong,

Like throwing a tripod in the sea, like a dragon soaring into the sky.

Historians, collecting ancient poems, forget to collect these,

Make the music songs of the two books more colorful and eye-catching

Confucius went to the West, but not to Qin.

He chose our planet and stars, but missed the sun and the moon.

I like ancient times, born too late,

I can't help crying when I think of these beautiful things.

I remember that when I was awarded the highest degree,

Yuan and the first year.

A friend of mine, who was at the western summer camp,

Offered to help me move these ancient relics.

I took a shower, changed my clothes, and then made a request to the president of the university.

Emphasize to him the rarity of these most precious things!

They can be wrapped in carpets, packed, sent in boxes,

Ten drums carry only a few camels.

Decorate the palace like a tall incense burner,

Or will their luster and value increase a hundredfold?

If the monarch shows them to the university,

Students can study them there and decipher them without doubt.

Many people are attracted to the cultural capital,

From all corners of the empire, it will gather soon.

We can wash the moss, pick out the dirt and restore the original surface.

And put them in a safe place forever.

Covered by a huge wide-brimmed building,

There they won't be in trouble as before.

But government officials are used to their ways,

Never go beyond the old precedent.

So the shepherd boy drummed the drums to make a fire, and the cows polished their horns on the drums.

Who will start rubbing again?

The sun and the moon compete for glory and bury it.

For six years, I have been sighing for them and singing to the west.

The familiar calligraphy of Wang Xizhi, though beautiful,

Maybe a few pages, just for a few white geese.

But now, in the eight dynasties after the Zhou Dynasty, all wars are over.

Why nobody cares about these drums!

The empire is at peace, the government is free,

Poets are respected again, Confucianism and men.

Oh, how can this petition be sent to the throne,

I would like to talk like a river.

But, alas, my voice is broken, and in my song of stone drums,

A plea choked with tears.

Appreciation of Han Yu's poems

Stone drums were unearthed in Tianxing County, Fengxiang Province (now Baoji, Shaanxi Province) in the early Tang Dynasty.

Sanyuan. If this event happens today, it will shock China and foreign countries as a "new archaeological discovery", but it is incredibly bleak at this time. Because in the eyes of the imperial court, they are just a few pieces of moss-covered garbage, so their suffering is comparable to that of a county like Rockett. As far as poetry is concerned, before Han Yu, Du Fu only wrote one poem in Li Chao's Eight-point Xiao Zhuan Song. Since then, although Wei wrote a Song of the Stone Drum, I am afraid that due to lack of enthusiasm, his literary talent is slightly lacking, and he is also a subordinate in Wei Suzhou Collection. It's just that the phrase "The History of Minister Xuan Wang" in his poem opened the door to the Millennium lawsuit to which Drum belongs. It was not until Han Yu's masterpiece came out that the "light price" of stone drums was greatly promoted and improved in the minds of future generations. Today, it has been over 1000 years since Han Yu wrote songs. Although not finished, the Ten Stone Drum is still displayed in the Palace Museum as a first-class cultural relic, thanks to Han Yu's call sign!

The first four sentences are clear and tell the origin of writing: Zhang Ji took Shi Guwen rubbings and advised me to try to write a poem on this topic. Du Li's generosity no longer exists. This extraordinary thing is how embarrassed I am! In these four sentences, the word "stone drum" seems dull and procrastinating, but it is not. Han Yu pioneered the use of prose to write poems. He didn't shy away from the same words, which is the habit of ancient Chinese prose. It should be noted that the word "persuasion" is very accurate, which saves the poet a lot of hesitant subtext and idle pen and ink, and one word overrides the rest of the effect. Han Yu has always boasted that "the stone opens the way" (Li Shangyin's "Hanbei"), but he is ashamed of it, which shows that it is profound and difficult to understand.

From Zhou Chisihai Boiling to Ghost Wake? Ah "is a paragraph. The first ten sentences are the poet's imagination of Zhou Xuanwang's royal revival, the existence of maritime empire, hunting pursuit, fame and achievements. Words such as boiling, anger, greatness, success, Wan Li and eternity are used to show the grandeur and grandeur of the polar scene. Han Yu inherited the saying that Wei was the year, which has profound historical reasons. After the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty, the imperial power was greatly weakened, and the Li and Tang Dynasties declined rapidly because of the vassal separatist regime, the eunuch's autocratic power, foreign invasion, the suspicion of ministers and various social contradictions. After Xian Zong ascended the throne, he adopted the policy of leveling the buffer region and restraining eunuchs, which made the national politics show signs of revival. Seeing the similarity of history, the poet naturally merged into his own political ideal while praising Zhou Xuanwang's great talent. At the beginning of Xian Zong's accession to the throne, Ping Jian's appreciation ceremony of Tang poetry in 2778.

After the Southern Song Dynasty in Liu Pi, Han Yu wrote a passionate poem "Poetry of Harmony and Morality", praising the wisdom and decisiveness of the heir to the throne. Therefore, the description of this poem "Shigu Song" conveys the poet's hope to revive the decadent program in order to achieve the situation of respecting the king and resisting foreign countries. "Washed by rain, baked by the sun and burned by wildfire" is the key to connecting the preceding with the following. It is a brief description of the disaster that has been circulating in Shigu for thousands of years. The poet thinks that it is unthinkable that the stone drum can be well preserved without the care of ghosts and gods. Only in this way, the stone drum itself is a rare treasure, not to mention other cultural relics. A few strokes paved the way for the following cut-in interpretation.

The next sentence of 14 is specifically for Shi Guwen. The profundity of the writing and the simplicity of the font make this "good guy" Dr. Wang feel very beautiful in his heart. Even if the denudation is mottled, he can't help but admire it. In those Gu Zhuo's handwriting, the poet indulges the aesthetic consciousness: the beautiful lines are more like a couple dancing together, and the clouds descend; Interactive stippling makes people feel like they are in the Dragon Palace Shuifu with many corals. The power of the pen reminds him of the power of gold rope and iron rope; The flying posture of the pen seems to convey its charm only by using Yu Ding's dragon to shuttle out of the wall ... The original static book Trace Hua Song has a vivid image, and he can't help but immerse himself in the transcendental enjoyment of beauty. The acquisition of aesthetic feeling depends on the depth of aesthetic experience. Although Han has never seen "dancing like a phoenix, hovering like an angel", it is not uncommon to see birds singing and dancing in real life. Ordinary people may only use ordinary language to express themselves, but poets are good at weaving landscapes into complex pictures with romantic imagination. For Shi Guwen, Han Yu is not satisfied with the positive description. He denounced vulgar Confucianism and deeply regretted Confucius, just to get the effect of clouds shining on the moon. Later generations did not know this, so they were criticized by rubber columns and drums. For example, there are four clouds in Mai's "Rong Zhai Essays": "Scholars are literary, and their words are exaggerated, although Chinese writers are inevitable. For example, "Song of the Stone Drum" tells the story of the King of Qi, which is as great as a cloud:' Confucius went west and didn't reach the State of Qin. He chose our planet and stars, but missed the sun and the moon. Historians collect ancient poems and forget to collect them, which makes the music songs of the two books more colorful and eye-catching. It means that 300 poems are like stars, and this poem alone is like the sun and the moon. .. the word "stone drum" handed down from this world is still there. How can it be the right of "lucky day" and "car attack"? Isn't An Zhi deleted by a saint? "But as long as you look at the' difficult to read' and' difficult to learn' sentences in Korean poetry, you will know that what the poet said is just an exaggeration of art. The deeper the so-called hatred, the stronger the love, and that's all. This passage is the essence of the whole poem, because it controls the thinking in the image, conveys rich aesthetic feelings to readers, and makes them strongly infected.

The last paragraph is from "I am fond of the past, born too late" to the end.

In literature, Han Yu took it as his duty to "overcome all difficulties and turn the tide in the East" (Jin Xuejie). In order to correct the disadvantages of the times, he advocated worshipping the past. Therefore, he strongly praised Shi Guwen, which should also be an integral part of this literary purpose. He is a doctor, "his job is exegesis" ("Poetry of Yuanhe Shengde"), and his duty is to protect the stone drum. To this end, I asked my old friend to measure the potholes, made preparations for resettlement, and solemnly reported to my boss that it was a piece of cake to resettle the "treasure".

However, the ruthless reality shattered his good wishes-vegetarian masters only care about promotion and wealth, and are not "grateful" (excited) at all for the mere stone drum! Here, the word "old" vividly outlines the insensitive and groggy appearance. Seeing that the stone drum continues to erode and is doomed to extinction, the poet is really worried. Although it is advertised as Confucianism now, I am afraid it will not help. When Song said this, he was frustrated and sighed!

This passage is desolate and gloomy, which makes people feel that the poet is not only lamenting the misfortune of Shigu, but also lamenting the lowliness of cold Confucianism. In order to contrast the absurdity of reality, the poet also used two allusions, which were particularly profound and powerful. The first one is Cai Yong. In the fourth year of Xiping in the later Han Dynasty, Emperor Ling was dissatisfied with the confusion of words at that time, and ordered Cai Yong and Tang Xidian to write the Six Classics in Zhengding, which was carved by Cai Shudan and placed in front of Hongdu. The cars that come to see every day block the streets. The second is Wang Xizhi. Wang Xizhi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty loved the swan neck and saw Chinese people raising geese in the mountains. Taoist wrote a book, Tao Te Ching, and gave it to each other. Cai Wang is both a scholar, but the former is good at official script, while the latter is good at official script. These two scripts, which came up much later than Shi Guwen, are still so beautiful. So, how can the authorities put up with the cold stone drums? The ingenious use of allusions has played an enlightening role.

This long poem has a rhyme at the end, like a long river flowing down, and the waves are scouring the old. There are many vague words in poetry, which are sonorous, stirring and catchy, making them feel that there is a lingering breath spreading between the lines. If we evaluate this line with the praise of "driving the situation, lifting the thunder to the electricity, and making it vast" (the new biography of Tang Caizi and Han Yuchuan), we will naturally feel that it is by no means a hollow reputation.
