西岛(西岛)

Viewed from the coast of Sanya Bay, West Island and the adjacent Dongdao (东岛) look like two A single tortoise shell lies in the blue waves, which is called "double tortoise shells floating on the waves". The West Island has had its own inhabitants for over 400 years. Now there are four small fishing villages on the island, namely East, West, Zhong and Xin, with more than 700 households.

While the entire island has not yet been fully opened, diving, water entertainment, and watching the sea erosion landscape of Niuwang Island are currently the most interesting things to do in the West Island. It is a special diving area in the west. You can participate in coral reef diving (460 yuan) at the diving club here to explore the best protected coral area in Sanya.

West Island Amusement World is in the north. There are various water activities, all with clearly marked prices at the registration desk. Niuwang Island, an outer island, stands on a cliff with rugged rocks. You can enjoy the unique sea erosion landscape. Coming out of the Winter Pier, there is a scenic road connecting Niuwang Island, which extends all the way to Niuwang Island. The scenery is also beautiful.

Wuzhizhou

Wuzhizhou was called "Ancient Seven Continents" in ancient times. This 1.48 square kilometer butterfly-shaped island is located on the sea 30 kilometers east of the city. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Antang was built on the island. It was once a military center and has now become a leisure resort.

The waters around the island are clear and transparent, with visibility of 6 to 27 meters. There are noctilucent snails, sea cucumbers, lobsters, mackerel, sea urchins, pomfret and colorful tropical fish here. There are well-protected coral reefs in the southern sea. You can choose from various experiences such as underwater walking or snorkeling, deep diving, coral reef diving, and semi-submersible sightseeing boats according to your own conditions.

The middle of the island is flat and covered with lush shrubs and vines. The swimming pool in the filming location of the movie "Private Customization" is worth a visit, as it complements the Bird's Nest building next to it. The Mazu Temple in the middle of the island was built during the Guangxu period. It is also the southernmost Mazu temple in China and is still popular today. The artificial scenic spot Lover's Valley has Sanya's famous dragon blood tree. Sun Rock in the southeast of the island is the best place to watch the sunrise.

Both places can only be reached by battery car. The wide variety of sea sports and beach sports on the island is another highlight that attracts tourists. Yazhou Ancient City

Before the Song Dynasty, the walls of Yazhou Ancient City were made of rammed earth, and were changed to bricks in the Southern Song Dynasty. After expansion in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it gradually became a big city. The original Yangchun Gate (east), Zhenhai Gate (west), and Ningxiu Gate (south, also known as Wenming Gate). The existing Wenming Gate is the only remaining relic of the ancient city after several disasters. It has been renovated and given a new look. The central axis passing through the Wenming Gate is Yacheng Gongxue (closed from 9:00 to 17:00 on Sundays), which is the southernmost Confucius Temple in China. It was founded in the Song Dynasty and was the highest institution of higher education in Qiongnan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Over the past 700 years, it has undergone more than 10 major moves, major repairs, and major expansions, and has become an important landmark for the spread of Confucianism in Qionghai.

This ancient city has many historical sites to visit. Wang Ying Pagoda is located in the west of Yacheng, Hainan Island. It is the southernmost ancient pagoda on Hainan Island, with up to 7 floors. It is both a Buddhist pagoda and a unique Feng Shui pagoda in Hainan.
