■ Chiang Kai-shek, who believed in superstition all his life, was assassinated and his ancestral grave was feng shui

In the autumn of 1925, when Chiang Kai-shek was the president of Whampoa Military Academy, he was assassinated.

The establishment of Whampoa Military Academy is the trend of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's internal examination of China and external examination of the world, and he thinks that the Kuomintang needs to be rectified, otherwise, the Party's struggle goal cannot be achieved. In the 13th year of the Republic of China (AD 1924), the first National Congress of the Chinese Nationalist Party was held in January, and the policy of alliance with Russia was put forward. At the same time, the idea of building the army in Huangpu and cultivating revolutionary force was put forward. From the lessons of repeated revolutionary failures, Mr. Sun understood that the founding power could never be formed by the Communist Party and the local army. Therefore, he firmly advocated that the Party should set up an officer school, train officers and set up a party army.

on January 24th, 1921, Dr. Sun Yat-sen appointed Chiang Kai-shek as the chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Army Military Academy, and seven members, including Wang Bailing and Deng Yanda. The old Guangdong Army School and Guangdong Naval School in Huangpu were designated as the new military academy buildings.

Huangpu is located in the east of Guangzhou, a little more than 1 kilometers downstream from the Pearl River in Jiang Xinzhou, next to Changzhou Fortress. It is not only the throat of Guangzhou, but also an important place for training cadres.
