LG G3 user interface

The update of the user interface is perhaps the biggest highlight of the LG G3 - it has finally changed from a confusing mess to a beautiful flat icon interface.

The notification area uses a slimmer font (in fact, the fonts on this phone have become like this), and the icons are much better-looking than before - this is both a result of the redesign and a more beautiful display. Sharp credit.

LG has added some Google Now-like features to the G3 to provide you with the information you need in a timely manner. For example, when it tells you that the weather is "partly cloudy", it also tells you when the wind will blow and when the weather will be. Do you need to bring an umbrella later, or remember this when someone calls and you reply to a text message saying that you will call back, and then remind you to call back in time.

G3’s system is also adaptive: at first, it will pop up a video explaining how to use it; after a while, it will remind you which apps can do cool things. You never use it; a year later, it will tell you that a new product is coming out.

Somewhat confusingly, some of this information is placed on the left side of the home screen (along with the LG Health app), and some is placed in a drop-down function on one of the home screens. It’s not a big deal, though, and the “smart notification” system doesn’t push new notifications very often, so it’s easy for us to quickly ignore it.
