Austrian KTM has always been a super personalized manufacturer, and its off-road vehicle has always been a dream in the hearts of riders. KTM's EFI system also takes the route of Japanese cars, and its structure is simple and stable. Its coding system is also a flashing coding system, which reads the code by flashing the fault light on the meter, just like Honda's code reading method. The long flash represents 10 digits, and the short flash represents single digits.

For example, 1 1 is a long and a short, and 07 is a short flash.

This table is based on RC8 to supplement the codes of other models, but I have read other KTM manuals, and there is also a code of the accelerator cable position sensor in my memory (written in English in Austria), and each manual describes the same part differently. . . . Because it was night, it was impossible to check the position of this sensor in the car. There is an opportunity to supplement the code in the future.

Regarding the repeated definition of code 62 and code 49, my personal guess is that different states are defined, which may refer to motor idling and vacuum tube idling.

The following are the fault codes of the anti-theft system.

That is, the flash code is only read on the anti-theft lamp, and the reading method is the same as that of the engine fault code.
