How excel sorts in ascending order

We often use the sorting function in our daily work. In general, we can solve it by using the sort button. If you want to get the ranking without changing the order of the original data, rank function or SUMPRODUCT function can solve it perfectly.

First, conventional classification

Method:

1. Select the data area, including the title.

2. Data-Sort-Select the main keyword.

3. Select descending or ascending order.

4. Determine and consult the data.

Remarks:

When selecting a data range, you must select the title of the table and the row where No and name are located, so as to select the main keyword.

Second, the formula is sorted.

Method:

Enter the formula =RANK(C3, C$3:C$9,0) or =RANK(C3, C $3: C $9) in the target cell.

Remarks:

1. The above two formulas have the same function. Excel system defaults to descending sort, and the third parameter 0 can be omitted.

2. The reference range (and the second parameter) must be an absolute reference.
