The Litigation hexagram becomes the sky above and the water below, which means the water falls down. But when the water first falls, there is very little water, so people below have to grab it. The situation is like a lawsuit. Let’s take a look at how the heaven above Ligong Gua moves? The sun and moon in the sky move from east to west; but how does the water below move? Water in China basically flows from west to east. The movement directions of heaven and water are exactly opposite and deviate from each other, which creates a situation of dispute. But it should be noted that the Litigation hexagram does not teach us how to litigate or fight, but teaches us how to stop litigating or fighting.
"彖" says: Litigation, the top is strong and the bottom is dangerous, dangerous and healthy, lawsuit. When it comes to litigation, you have to be careful, and you will be lucky, and you will win as soon as you come. In the end, it will be bad and the lawsuit will not succeed. It is beneficial to meet the great people, and it is also upright. It is unfavorable to cross the great river and enter the abyss.
The Qian hexagram above the Litigation hexagram is strong, and the Kan hexagram below is dangerous, so it is called "the upper part is strong and the lower part is dangerous, dangerous but healthy". When danger meets strength, there will be disputes, that is to say, when heaven and water meet, there will be disputes: sky moves from east to west, and water flows from west to east. These two conflict with each other, so there will be disputes. Why is the middle auspicious? "Just come and get the middle", the middle auspiciousness is because the strong line is in the middle, and the middle position is the second and fifth position of a hexagram. The second and fifth digits of the Litigation hexagram are both strong lines, so they are auspicious. Why is it so bad after all? "Litigation will never succeed". It is impossible to succeed if you always litigate or litigate, so it is ultimately dangerous. "It is beneficial to meet the great people, and it is the most upright thing." Why can it be "beneficial to meet the great people"? Because the ninety-five lines are both middle and right. "It is unfavorable to cross a large river and enter an abyss." In the end, you will fall into the abyss, because the Kan hexagram below represents both water and abyss. This is the explanation of the hexagrams in "The Legend of Tuan".

The third line is Don't litigate with superiors, don't litigate with superiors, because the third line is close to the Qian Gua, don't litigate with people in authority; the fourth line is don't sue, don't litigate, change your mind about litigating; fifth Yao can be litigated, and it should be litigated according to the way of heaven, but it should not be overdone, and it should be kept in the middle and upright; the last line is that it cannot be litigated for a long time, and it cannot be litigated for a long time.
In general, the Yi Gua tells us that we should try to avoid intensification of conflicts, resolve them according to natural principles, be "good", retain sincerity, perseverance, and righteousness, and be vigilant. , The heart of fear; do not be unreasonable and unforgiving when doing things, do not want to litigate for a long time, and "begin with a plan". You must not go against the law of heaven at the beginning, so that you can end well.
