Can java variables be named with Arabic numerals?

Three points of java variable naming specification are supplemented:

First of all, the variable hits can only have 1, English letter 2, underscore: _ 3, Arabic numeral 4 and dollar sign $

Second, you can't start with a number

Third, there can be no spaces.
