What is the reason why the water level in Lvwan Lake has dropped too much?
The water level of Lvwan Lake has dropped to 94m (in wet season 1 12m), reaching the lowest level in 22 years. In the dry season of Lvwan Lake, a large area of loess or shoal is exposed on the water surface, and many cruise ships are put on hold by wharf shoal. Therefore, it is necessary to develop good water habits and make a contribution to water conservation.
Happened by chance.
Due to the drop of water level in Lvwan Lake, Hakka ancient buildings and ancient kiln sites that have been submerged or annihilated by the lake for many years have "surfaced" and "seen the light of day again". Appraised by many experts in cultural relics and archaeology, these unearthed arrows and spears are ancient cultural relics of Shang Dynasty in Zhixia in the late Neolithic period.
According to the preliminary statistics of the Archaeological Workstation in northern Guangdong, among them, 26 pieces of late Neolithic Shi Mao (including Shi Mao with two shoulders), 5 pieces of stone arrowheads, 40 pieces of knives, late Neolithic pottery pots 1 piece, Shang and Zhou pottery cups 1 piece, and 4 pieces and parts of Shang and Zhou pottery pots were unearthed in Yangmei Village.
