What does the ending of "Jingjue Ancient City" mean?

At the end of "Jingjue Ancient City", the expedition team was wiped out, and everyone was deceived by Xue Liyang.

The second devil's prophecy in the play is actually true. Sydney is the devil. However, when the devil knew about the prophecy, he used illusions to make Hu Bayi and Fatty think they were seeing the second prophecy. It's fake. The way to escape is simply a road of death. The devil tricked three people into falling into a ghost cave.

The space linked by the ghost cave is actually another parallel world, so the dead are resurrected because Hu Bayi and the others are not in the original world at all. The legend that people who travel to this world will be marked will be printed on them, and those who are seen by the queen will disappear. It is true.

The ending means that everyone was deceived by Xueli Yang. Xueli Yang’s father was not dead at all. The purpose of going to Jingjue Ancient City was to unravel the curse on her family. It felt like Professor Chen was waiting for everyone who entered. All have eye marks and are cursed.

Plot summary

Hu Bayi (played by Jin Dong) went to the mountains and countryside and came to Ganggangyingzi on the Sino-Mongolian border. I bought the only book left at home - "Sixteen-Character Yin-Yang Feng Shui Secret Technique", and memorized the words in the book by heart in my spare time. After joining the army and going to Tibet, he encountered an avalanche and fell into a huge trench. Hu Bayi used the secret techniques of tombs he knew to escape.
