EPC, what is the light emitted by the exhaust gas?

EPC is what we often call an electronic throttle, which can actually be understood as an electronic throttle control system. For vehicles using electronic accelerator, the accelerator pedal and accelerator are no longer controlled by cables, that is, there is no mechanical connection between the accelerator pedal and accelerator. The "depth" of the accelerator pedal is reported to the ECU through two "accelerator pedal position sensors" (actually a variable resistor) connected to the accelerator pedal. The driver's willingness to accelerate is also reflected by the depth of the accelerator pedal, which becomes the main input parameter of ECU. The operation of the throttle is controlled by the motor (throttle regulator) in the throttle control unit, that is, through the entire speed and load area. The throttle regulator operates the throttle according to the instruction of ECU. When the engine is stationary and the ignition switch is turned on, the ECU controls the throttle regulator according to the instruction of the accelerator pedal sensor. If the accelerator pedal is depressed halfway, the accelerator regulator will open the accelerator in the same proportion, and the accelerator will open about halfway. When the engine is running (under load), the ECU can open or close the throttle independently of the accelerator pedal sensor. In this way, even if the accelerator pedal is only half stepped, the accelerator may have been fully opened, which has the advantage of avoiding the loss of accelerator function. In addition, the emission of harmful substances and fuel consumption will be significantly improved under certain load conditions. Through the optimal combination of throttle section and boost pressure, ECU can generate the required engine torque. Electronic throttle is composed of several parts, which are used to determine throttle, adjust and monitor, such as accelerator pedal position sensor, throttle control unit, EPC indicator light, ECU and so on. EPC indicator lamp is an early warning symbol of ECU control unit. When it is turned on, it doesn't mean there must be something wrong. In general, there are several possibilities for EPC light to be on: 1, and the throttle body is too dirty (the computer observes that the throttle opening may have exceeded 5). The throttle body is an important core component of the electronic throttle control unit, and it is also the core component of the electronic throttle system-healthy driving habits (such as resolutely resisting low-speed and high-end), better driving conditions (such as minimizing the journey within 2km at a time), and guaranteed engine oil (Volkswagen in Shenzhen has nothing to say, so let's go to Caltex)-all of which can prevent or delay the premature dirty throttle. 2. The damage of the 2.POLO brake light switch (under the brake pedal) will cause the EPC light to light up. 3. The size of other oil and gas pipelines or circuits may also cause EPC to light up. 4. In a word, EPC light is just a signal, which doesn't mean there must be a problem. When EPC is turned on, it should be: 1. Stop the engine immediately and restart it to see if it can be cleared (a bit like restarting). 2. Immediately enter the 4S store, check whether there is a fault code with the computer, and handle it accordingly. 3. Consult the technical director of the service station according to the total number of times the EPC light is on: Do you need to upgrade the ECU version?
