What does "situation" mean in Feng Shui?
Situation refers to the situation and shape of the dragon veins and acupoints. Guo Pu said in "Book of Burial": "Thousands of feet are the momentum, and hundreds of feet are the form." Annotation: "Thousands of feet are the distance, and the force of a mountain is the same. Hundreds of feet is the near, and it is the force of a cave. Shaping. "The main purpose of selecting acupoints is to multiply the vitality during burial. However, vitality is invisible and can only be obtained by examining its shape. Although the Qi rises, falls, gathers and disperses, and is unpredictable, its movements along the dragon's veins are also erratic, going east to west or north to south. But when it starts, there must be momentum to be found, and if it gains momentum, it will come and go. Moreover, the shape and color of mountains are caused by Qi, so the shape is the external form of Qi. In Kan Yu, observing the situation and judging the situation, shape is the key to looking at the Qi and finding the acupoints. In fact, form and momentum are indispensable. "The Book of Burial" says: "If the situation is in harmony with the situation, it will be auspicious; if the situation is in opposition to the situation, it will be inauspicious. If the situation is auspicious, if the situation is inauspicious, a hundred blessings will come from one; if the situation is inauspicious, if the situation is auspicious, misfortunes will not come around."
The so-called shape is the shape of the mountain with caves. Shape is the key to integrating potential and gathering Qi. Qi moves according to the potential and stops due to the shape. Shape is also a summary of potential. If there is no good shape, the momentum cannot be stopped and the energy cannot be condensed, and the deceased has no support. Shape can be divided into big and small, high and low, fertile, pitched, and upright. Feng Shui experts roughly divide it into six shapes: round, flat, straight, curved, square, and concave. The basic requirements for it are:
First, stop, otherwise the momentum will not be maintained and the energy will not gather. "Guan's Geography Zhimeng" said: "The shape must be stopped, and if it is stopped, it will be dirty and hidden and have appearance."
Second, it is necessary to hide, and when it is exposed, the Qi will be dispersed in the drifting wind. "Guan's Geography Zhimeng" says: "The shape should not be exposed, otherwise the Qi will disperse at the peak." Third, it must be square, as oblique diarrhea and broken parts will cause the generation of dirty Qi.
Fourth, it should be in the shape of a circle, with the halls unified and dense, so that the energy can gather and blend.
Position refers to the various postures presented in the continuous ups and downs of the dragon vein after it originates and moves towards the acupuncture point. Compared with form, form is close but potential is far, form is small but potential is great. Therefore, if you want to recognize its shape, you must first observe its potential. There is a saying in "Guan's Geography Zhi Meng·Jiulong Sanying No. 98" that "to find the dragon, we must first divide the nine trends". There is potential and then there is form, and there is form and then there are holes. Only by finding the true dragon's true cave can his descendants be blessed by it. If you identify the shape and set up acupuncture points under the fierce force of the evil dragon, it will lead to disaster. Therefore, "The Book of Burial" says: "The momentum is like ten thousand horses, descending during the day, and they bury the king; the momentum is like huge waves, the mountains are overlapping, the burial of thousands of horses; the momentum is like a dragon descending, the water surrounds the clouds, and the three nobles are honored; the momentum is like There are many houses, lush grass and trees, and the government is built; the force is like a startled snake, bending and slanting; the vastness of the kingdom of heaven is like a spear, and the soldiers are in a state of death; the force is like running water, and all living people are ghosts."
