Longgang Pinghu Fortune Telling _ Where is Pinghu Fortune Telling?
Bad folkways and customs: 1 Fortune-telling visit to Nanjiang Another manifestation of superstitious customs is to believe in fate. Before liberation, there were many fortune tellers in cities and rural areas. Use a set of specious deception to tell people's fortune, predict people's life and death, good or bad luck, future, fortune, etc. Many people believe this, even if it is distorted, they also believe that insufficient time will pay off. In the event of marriage, funeral, illness and other things, all actions are resigned to fate, "listening to Tianan's life." Turn a deaf ear to the truth that "everything depends on human effort" and "man can conquer nature" Another manifestation of believing in fate is to believe in the fortune teller's "five senses" appearance, "limbs" length, fingerprints and eyebrows. And predict people's fate. In addition, there are some superstitious activities, such as choosing a date, drawing lots, asking for divination, measuring words, watching Feng Shui, sending flowers to a tray, and playing the fifth cabin. The residents with low cultural and scientific level in mountainous areas are confused in the strange circle of ghosts and gods' fate and can't jump out of the fence for a long time. After liberation, after popularizing education, culture and science, superstitious activities have been restrained and stopped.
2 The legend of sharpening a knife and drying a dragon robe
"Knife sharpening meeting on May 13th, dragon robe drying on June 6th". This is the Raohe River (where Xinjiang, Changjiang and Le 'an rivers meet in Poyang to form the Raohe River), which is a folk legend widely circulated on both sides of the strait.
Every year on the 13th day of the fifth lunar month, Raohe people coerce the afterglow of Duanyang Festival, make steamed dumplings and race dragon boats. On the sixth day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar, if it is sunny, Raohe people have to go through every household to dry clothes (it is said that clothes dried on the sixth day of June will not breed).
There is another anecdote about the formation of this custom. According to the elders, May 13th of the lunar calendar is the day when Guan Yu grinds the dragon crescent moon blade (hence the name of this festival), and June 6th of the lunar calendar is the day when the Dragon King of the East China Sea dries his robes. Guan Yu has an appointment with the Dragon King. On May 13th, the Dragon King gave rain to sharpen Guan Yu's knife. Otherwise, Guandi will stay at the seaside on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, and will not let the Dragon King go ashore to dry his robes. So it will rain cats and dogs on May 13th of the lunar calendar, and the sky will be clear in Wan Li on June 6th. Poyang people therefore have the saying "June 6th, go swimming in the water".
Legend has it that Guiguzi came to Poyang on May 12th of the lunar calendar. He felt sorry for the poor people who were busy farming in the fields under the scorching sun. He wanted to do something good, so he called everyone together and asked them to bury the bamboo cage (a fishing gear that can hold fish in the ditch) quickly. These people looked up and saw the scorching sun in the sky, and there were no clouds in Wan Li. All blame guiguzi for teasing people, and each has to work in the fields. As a result, some people were dubious and really did what Guiguzi said and buried the cage in the mountain.
The next day, on the 13th day of the fifth lunar month, it rained cats and dogs and flooded the mountains. The fish cages of ordinary people are full of fish, shrimp and loach. Since then, people here have to go up the mountain to bury their cages on May 13 every year, and they always return home with full loads. Until today, Raohe people are used to burying bamboo cages to hold fish around the Dragon Boat Festival. As long as there is a storm, they can always gain something.
Later, the jade emperor knew about it. He blamed Guiguzi for revealing the secret, so he invited Guan Gong and Dragon King to make another appointment to sharpen their knives and hang their robes. From then on, it may not rain on May 13th and the sun may not shine on June 6th.
However, people on both sides of Raohe River felt the kindness of Guiguzi and still did as they said, leaving this custom behind.
3 excessive yin deficiency
Passing through the yin is to evoke the soul of the dead, which is related to creating ghosts. However, people who communicate with ghosts show ghosts; What is yin showing people? In fact, when a person dies, he will never come back (unless God brings him back to life). The so-called "ghosts" are all disguised as ghosts. Ghosts can really show everything about people, show their true colors, and tell stories in life with their own voices. So many people are deceived and mistakenly think that the soul of the dead has come back to talk to people. This is forbidden by God.
We say that God forbids people who belong to God to do such things, but God does not forbid people to do them. People have their own will and freedom to follow Satan. But God forbids Israel to do all these things, because Israel belongs to God. We who are saved by grace are forbidden by God to do such things, because God hates such things.
When you come to the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you must not learn to do the abominations of those nations.
Four immortals
Immortals come from Taoism, including daxian and immortal.
The word "fresh" is the language of Miao people in Hunan. When they call the village, they all call it "Xian". Taoyuan District, Wuling County, Hunan Province, is called a Taoist wonderland.
According to them, immortals are full of heaven and earth, with their own magical powers. Immortals can give birth to babies and are refined gods. Finally, they can be born from the body and fly up on a crane. Immortals can live long. Song Yuanji is a fairy in the moon.
Qin Shihuang once sent people to pray for immortals. In 2 19 BC, the alchemist (Fu) said to Qin Shihuang: "There are three immortals in the East China Sea: Penglai (Japan), the abbot (Ryukyu) and Yingzhou (Taiwan Province Province), and there are fairy medicines in the world, such as Ganoderma lucidum and Yuliquan, which immortals drink." So, 500 boys and girls boarded the ship and went to sea. They got nothing because of the smooth sailing. Later, the emperor ordered 3000 people to go to the island to beg for fairy grass. They couldn't find Xiancao, so they stayed in Japan. This is all false, because there is no fairy, no fairy medicine, no fairy grass. Qin Shihuang finally died. Unfortunately, there are still many people who are superstitious about immortals!
Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty also sought longevity. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty also died.
They attached great importance to alchemy in order to get gold and the law of immortality. They say that dew comes from the moon, and people can get the essence of yin when they drink it (the essence of yang comes from the sun).
They practice alchemy and drink cinnabar. You should know that "cinnabar" is 84% mercury and 16% sulfur. It was burned many times, which is called "returning Dan for nine years". Many people died as a result. Alchemy not only can't prolong their life, but also is in danger of death, so don't engage in such superstitious things again.
What is the Eight Immortals? They pretend to be rich, poor, old and young in fairy tales, and are named Han Zhongli, Zhang, Cao Guojiu, Lan Cai He, Li Tie Strange, Han Xiangzi and He Xiangu.
These eight people are called the Eight Immortals. They are all from the Tang Dynasty, and they are all dead. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty realized when he was old, "Where are the immortals in the world? This is just a devil's word. "
When we understand the origin of immortals, we should stop being superstitious about immortals. There is only one God. If God is God, then the whole world is God, because it is said that God is all over the world. If immortals are gods, they should not be confined to China. If the Eight Immortals were gods, they should not have been born in the Tang Dynasty, nor should they have "died". Jesus was crucified, but he came back to life three days later. He is the Lord of the Resurrection. We don't believe in the dead Lord; But to believe in a dead and resurrected Lord.
5 look at feng shui
Many people build houses and graves and like to watch Feng Shui. They think that geomantic omen is related to houses or ancestral graves. It's a pity that they don't even know the origin of Feng Shui, which leads to superstition of Feng Shui.
In ancient times, people had the habit of watching Feng Shui when building houses and graves. However, they don't look at Feng Shui for future generations. They build houses according to the height of the terrain and the distance of the waterway. For the sake of hygiene, they built graves to watch the high places dry, so as to avoid wind and rain growing vegetation, leading to coffin decay and cemetery cracking. They don't choose direction or height for good luck.
When it comes to feng shui, we have to mention "the art of feng shui". Geomantic omen is to observe the bad luck of the terrain, which originated from Guo Pu in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. He began to look at geomantic omen and choose the terrain for the good luck of future generations. However, Guo Pu was crushed to death by a wall. If good feng shui is auspicious, why does it encounter bad omen?
Later, Yang Junsong and Emperor Wendi Zeng also wrote The Kanyu Classic respectively. They are familiar with the good and bad luck of Feng Shui, but they have ruined their offspring!
We don't look at feng shui to build a house, and it doesn't necessarily have any disadvantages; Those who like to watch Feng Shui build houses and graves may not be so lucky. Only by abandoning the false and returning to the true and trusting in Jesus can we live forever and enjoy eternal happiness. I hope you will stop being superstitious about Feng Shui.
6 burning paper money, etc.
Today, many people who worship false gods like to burn paper money and other things for the dead. How did burning money come from?
As we all know, paper was invented by Cai Lun in the later Han Dynasty. At that time, he made a lot of paper, which led to overproduction. Later, he consulted with his wife. He pretended to be ill and told the court that he was ill and was recuperating. His wife cut the paper into rectangles, counted hundreds of bundles and wrapped it in silver foil. She declared that Cai Lun was seriously ill and made a bottomless coffin at the same time. Soon, she announced that Cai Lun was dead, and she went to burn paper in the coffin. They asked her why she had been burning paper in front of the coffin. She pretended to say, "Cai Lun was unconscious, woke up several times and said,' He went to a strange place, met a stranger and gave him some money to return to the world. He saw that the paper money he gave came from the underworld. Cai Lun told her not to bury him in advance, and as long as she kept burning paper for six days, he would come back to life. "When it's over, it's dead." So his wife burned paper in front of the coffin for six days. On the seventh day, Cai Lun was "resurrected". His neighbor was very surprised and asked him what was going on. Cai Lun said: He was taken by a fierce man and sent to prison through an official hall. He gave the jailer some travel expenses. The jailer took him to Yan State, met Yin Guan on the way, immediately gave him some paper money, and he went to Yan State smoothly. The prince looked up the book of life and death and said that he had many good deeds, which could prolong his life, so he could be resurrected.
As soon as the story spread, Cai Lun's papers sold well. Unfortunately, people who are superstitious about ghosts and gods today don't know the truth, thinking that burning paper for the dead can make money for the dead in the underworld. Later, someone burned paper clothes for the deceased, and a paper car was burned for the deceased. Paper is a thing of the world. Burning into ashes still exists on the earth and will not run to the earth. We don't want paper sedan chairs, paper carts, paper clothes, let alone dead people. How do they use these things? People who believe in Jesus will go to heaven to enjoy happiness after death, without using the material on the ground; Unbelievers suffer in the underworld after death and enjoy nothing. Paper can't pass through water or fire. It will turn yellow or moldy if it is left for a long time. Nobody wants it, and ghosts and gods don't use paper. Therefore, burning paper is really a waste and useless. Only a fool would do such a thing.
