How to install cad floor drain
CAD floor drain is a very common drainage system. It is usually used in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and other places where drainage is required. Installing a CAD floor drain is not difficult, just follow the steps below.
Step one: Prepare tools and materials

Step 2: Confirm the installation location

Put the water distributor into the opening, align the level and plumb bob, and adjust it horizontally to a horizontal state. Then, apply a layer of cement mortar with a thickness of 1 to 2 centimeters around the floor drain, insert an iron pick plate between the water distributor and the ground, and tighten it. Finally seal the edges with mortar to give it a clean and tidy look.
Step 5: Install the water pipe
Then you need to install the water pipe. The perforation of the water pipe should be as close to the bottom of the floor drain as possible. Insert the water pipe into the drainage hole above the water distributor, and then use pipe clamps or self-tapping screws to fix the water pipe in the corresponding position.
Step 6: Install the floor drain
After the water pipe installation is completed, the floor drain needs to be installed into the hole. Make sure the floor drain matches the size of the hole and secure it with screws. Before fixing the floor drain, apply Teflon lubricant to the port of the water pipe to ensure that the water pipe is inserted into the floor drain more smoothly. Finally, tighten all screws and fasteners alternately with each other.
