Can ECU be repaired if it is broken?
In general, the damage of ecu is caused by the damage of power port. In most cases, the short circuit outside the electronic control unit will not damage the electronic control unit, and there will be some protective measures inside the electronic control unit. Even if the internal pin is inserted incorrectly, it does not necessarily affect the damage of the electronic control unit.
At present, the safeguard measures of electronic control unit are relatively perfect. Except for the fragile power port, it is not easy to be damaged elsewhere. It is easily damaged by the high voltage of ecu. The internal voltage of most family cars will not exceed 15V, so it is quite safe to use.
If it's just some minor faults, it can be solved by repair. After most ecu is damaged, the fault lights on the dashboard of the vehicle will basically light up, which will easily lead to fault codes, affect the idling jitter of the vehicle, easily stall when driving, and fail to accelerate.
Another situation is that the mechanical position of the electronic throttle is worn, which leads to the throttle not being opened or closed correctly, and the engine is prone to jitter when idling. And the engine speed is relatively high.
Of course, when you find something wrong with the ecu on the vehicle, you should replace it or repair it immediately. @20 19
