I want to go on a self-guided trip to Xi'an for two or three days in January. I have a lot of questions. I hope you can help me O(∩_∩)O~
1? The weather is relatively cold in January, with the lowest temperature being about minus ten degrees, which should be a little colder than Chongqing. There is no need to be fully equipped, just a sweater with a down jacket, jeans with warm pants is enough. Moreover, the climate here is relatively dry, and the cold is dry and cold. The wind blows just a little bit on the face and ears. Unlike in the south, where it is so cold that it is bone-chilling, there are heaters in the house. So don't be afraid.
2? Most buses are coin-operated for one yuan per ticket. Air-conditioned buses are coin-operated for two yuan. Please prepare change when getting on the bus. Coins and banknotes are acceptable. Tickets for relatively small minibuses cost 50 cents for three stops, and the whole journey does not cost more than 5 yuan. Basically, every tourist attraction you want to visit can be reached by bus. Don't worry.
3? Nowadays, basically public toilets on the streets are free of charge, and there are toilets in shopping malls on the streets. You can go to KFC, McDonald's, etc. Unless you go to a back street or alley, there may be charges.
4? Tang Furong Garden is actually pretty good. It’s a matter of opinion. If you like classical architecture, history and culture, go and see it. Some people find it boring if they don’t like it.
The same is true for the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, but I suggest you go and see it. After all, it is considered the eighth wonder of the world! But remember, bring your own food and drinks when going to these tourist attractions. Shopping at the entrance to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses is very expensive!
