Number of thunderdome venues

Twenty thousand people. YamahaStadium was originally named ThunderDome in Bangkok, but it was renamed YamahaStadium due to the support of all parties. The stadium can accommodate 20,000 people at the same time, and has a reception room. It is the exclusive venue for media and sports, and provides internet services inside. Venues are extremely important places operated by the Organizing Committee and/or its partners/institutions. They are located in a closed area and are completely used by the Organizing Committee and/or its partners/institutions for hosting the Olympic Games.
