Qingyang County, which belongs to Chizhou City, Anhui Province, is located in the south of Anhui Province, on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, in the east of Chizhou City, with a total area of 1 196 square kilometers. The Historical Evolution of Qingyang County
The whole territory is descended from Xia Dynasty (about 2 1 century BC-0/6th century BC) and belongs to the territory of ancient Yangzhou.
In the late Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770 ~ 476 BC), it belonged to Wu, and most of the mountainous areas in the territory were inhabited by Shanyue people. At the beginning of the Warring States, Wu was destroyed (473 BC). Wuyue (about 306 years ago) belonged to the State of Chu.
In the twenty-first year of Qin Shihuang (the first 223 years), Chu died, and the whole territory was unified in Qin, belonging to Yan County.
In the second year of Yuanshou in the Western Han Dynasty (12 1 year ago), it belonged to Danyang County and was reorganized from Yan County. Lingyang (Yang Guang, Nanyang), Lincheng and Dingling counties. In the 12th year of Yuan Dynasty (1275), the county seat was occupied by the Yuan Army, and it belonged to Chizhou Road and Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces in Zhongshu Province.
