Wrestling is the oldest competitive event in the world. What is the Olympic wrestling competition?
Wrestling is the oldest and most fascinating competitive event in the world. In ancient times, people had to fight against nature in order to survive. They learned wrestling as a means of self-defense from practice. From the 0/2nd century BC to the 8th century BC, there were wrestling competitions in the ancient Greek Olympic Games. At the first ancient Olympic Games in 776 BC, wrestling was listed as an official event. So in the first modern Olympic Games of 1896, in fact, Greco-Roman wrestling was listed as a competition, but there was no level at that time. There was no wrestling in the second Olympic Games. Since the third Olympic Games, freestyle wrestling has been divided into seven levels according to weight. After the 4th Olympic Games, Greco-Roman wrestling and freestyle wrestling were listed as official events, and they were played separately according to the heavyweight.
Greco-Roman wrestling is also called Greco-Roman wrestling. In greco-Roman wrestling, only the opponent's body is allowed to be held above the waist. In some cases, it is not allowed to attack the opponent's lower limbs with hands and legs. There are two rounds in each game, each round is 3 minutes, and the intermission 1 minute. If you can hold down your opponent's two shoulder blades at the same time and make them touch the mat, it can be judged as an absolute victory. If the above situation does not occur within this period of time, the outcome will be decided by the number of points scored in the two rounds. The scoring method is as follows: you can get 1 point when your opponent falls or turns and pushes behind you; If the opponent falls or kneels and wrestles, and the angle between the opponent and the mat is less than 90, 2 points can be scored; When the angle between the opponent's shoulder and the mat is less than 90, you can get 4 points by directly performing beautiful and large-scale technical movements; If the athlete lifts his opponent off the ground with a big movement and quickly puts his opponent in a dangerous state, he can get 5 points. In the competition, when one player beats his opponent by more than 15, it is called dominant victory. When the score difference is 12, it is called the second dominant victory. If athletes take a negative attitude in the competition, they can be given a warning or deducted points.
Freestyle wrestling is also called freestyle wrestling. Athletes can use both hands and feet in the competition, and when attacking the opponent's lower limbs, they can use technical actions such as holding legs, winding legs, hooking feet, picking legs, kneeling and riding around. The competition mode, weight classification, scoring and winning and losing standards are the same as those of Greco-Roman wrestling. In order to improve the wrestling level, the International Wrestling Federation adopts the special competition method of drawing lots and grouping. After the preliminary round of the group round robin, let two groups of athletes with the same ranking compete for the corresponding ranking in the final. So wrestling can have a very exciting and intense scene from the beginning. At present, CIS and Eastern European countries have great advantages in classical wrestling, while freestyle wrestlers are widely distributed. China's wrestling has technical characteristics, and it has certain strength in some lighter competitions, but it lacks international competition experience.
