Step on the brake pedal, open the valves of the master cylinder (all of them are one-way valves, which can only take air in and cannot return), and compressed air enters the front brake cylinder and the rear brake spring cylinder through the one-way valves, which pushes the brake arm, rotates the brake cam, unfolds the brake shoes (mostly copper asbestos brake pads) and closely contacts the brake drum (cast iron) to achieve the purpose of braking.

At present, the pipeline system with double circuits and cross braking is adopted to ensure that the pipeline has local leakage and braking.
