In the second year of Deyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1276), Pan Shi moved from Dali in Huangyan to Panjia, and Wang moved from Yongjiachang in Wenzhou to Qiaotouwang. He became a family in Yuxiang, built a bridge named Tuxia, and people lived together and migrated to form villages and markets.
In the autumn of the eighteenth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 166 1 year), in order to block Zheng Chenggong, Su Nanhai, the minister of the Ministry of Housing, went to Taizhou, and on the first day of July, an imperial edict was issued, allowing the residents of three miles along the coast to enter the mainland, demolishing houses to build cities, and all the rural areas and houses were abandoned, leaving no space, which was called the distribution border. Some domestic residents moved to Nanmen, Shantou, Linhai Datian, Dongcheng, Shikai, Ninghai Zhuhai and Macao in Huangyan City. At that time, the household registration was scattered, and the residents were displaced.
In the 9th year of Kangxi (A.D. 1670), an exhibition was held, and in the 22nd year of Kangxi (A.D. 1683), the imperial edict was completely restored, and the people moved to the coast and returned to their homeland, allowing fishermen to go fishing in the sea, and the people moved back to their homes. People who return home see that their hometown is rural, and the streets are deserted and desolate. Twenty-two years' migration to the sea has brought duqiao town to a standstill.
After the opening of the maritime ban in the Kangxi period, eight surnames, Pan, Weng, Chen, Wu, Wang, Zhang, Cao and Zheng, moved in again, and the population gradually gathered, gradually restoring the situation of many people and things in the past. The concentration of population and the exchange of various commodities have led to the completion of urban public buildings with various functions and the expansion of industry in the market.
In the 23rd year of Qianlong (A.D. 1758), a new Sangyuan Temple was built.
Forty years after Qianlong (AD 1799), Jin rebuilt the Longpu River Bridge.
During the Qianlong period, the first and sixth days of the lunar calendar were designated as Tuxiaqiao market days, and the market trade flourished and became the confluence of maritime trade. In addition to the market in the town, the neighboring Wang Qian Village, Jingpin Village, Dudong Village and Xi Du Village face each other and are connected by roads, forming a natural town pattern.
In April of the seventh year of Yongzheng (A.D. 1729), Tuxia Bridge was moved to Luo Jian (North Construction), Tao Zhu, Zhejiang Salt Administration.

Market, South Sichuan and Xikou Township were established respectively.
