The story of the Book of Changes tells us: Good deeds can accumulate blessings, virtue can change fate!
1. The work of knowing the smallest things
Shortly after King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty came to the throne, he would use ivory chopsticks to eat.
After seeing this, Minister Jizi said to people: "Ivory chopsticks must not be paired with earthenware vessels, but must be paired with rhinoceros horn bowls and white jade cups; with jade cups, they must not be used to hold vegetables, soup beans, etc." The soup must be filled with delicacies from the mountains and seas; after eating the delicacies from the mountains and seas, one no longer wants to wear rough clothes, but wears beautiful clothes; no longer wants to live in a hut, but wants to ride in a luxurious car and live in a high-rise building. , The goods within the Shang Kingdom will not satisfy his desires, and he will have to plunder the rare treasures from distant countries. In the long run, the country will be in danger." Sure enough, King Zhou's greed became more and more intense, and he finally destroyed his country and burned himself.
"The Book of Changes" says, "Knowing the number is magical." "Ji" means the subtle changes in things, and those who can know "the number" are gods. The future development and changes can be inferred from the details of things. This is "knowing the number", and knowing the "number" is the philosopher's precise grasp of the world and the human heart. 2. Painting the ground as a prison
It is said that King Wen of Zhou Dynasty combined the two hexagrams based on the Fuxi Bagua to obtain sixty-four hexagrams and used them for divination. Legend has it that under the rule of King Wen of Zhou Dynasty, the people lived and worked in peace and contentment. If someone committed a crime, he only needed to draw a circle on the open space and trap the criminal inside without caring about him. This is "drawing the ground as a prison". No prisoner dared to escape, so he could stay in the "jail" as long as he was sentenced, because King Wen was very accurate in fortune-telling. As long as someone was trapped by him, he would know where he had gone, and the punishment would be increased if he caught him. .
Being able to "draw the ground as a prison" is due to people's self-discipline or fear. Therefore, it is better to restrain the person's body than to restrain the person's heart. It is better to attack the heart!
3. Death by an ox's horns
There was a rich boy, and the fortune teller said to him: "One day, you will be killed by an ox's horns!"
The rich kid thought what he said was ridiculous, but he was afraid that it would come true, so as the day approached, he stayed at home and even moved upstairs to take strict precautions. In the afternoon of that day, the rich kid was alone in the attic. When he felt bored, he opened the window, lay on the window sill and looked into the distance, thinking that everything would be fine after the afternoon!
At this time, he suddenly felt that his ears were itchy, so he took off the hairpin and dug out his ears. At this time, a strong wind blew, the window slammed shut, and hit his hairpin. The hairpin went straight through Brain, he died! It turns out that hairpins are made of horns.
This story is used to illustrate the inevitable fate and destiny. In the eyes of those who believe in fate, fate has an inevitable and unchanging nature. The reason why fate is "fate" is that it will not change in any way due to human intervention. 4. Virtue can change fate
In the early years of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty, there was a businessman named Wang in Suzhou who was in his thirties and had no children. One of his uncles who was proficient in fortune telling was also in Suzhou. One day, when the uncle saw Wang, he said that Wang would soon have a big disaster.
Wang always admired his uncle's divine calculation. After hearing what he said, he immediately packed up and returned to his hometown in Anhui. Halfway there, he found that the river was swollen and he was unable to sail, so he had to temporarily stay in an inn.
One evening, he went for a walk by the river and saw a woman holding a child and throwing herself into the river. Wang immediately shouted to the fishermen in the river: "Who can save this woman and child?" , I gave him twenty taels of silver!”
*** and the child were rescued. After questioning, it turned out that ***’s family was very poor and had a pig, which they planned to sell to pay the rent. Yes, but when the buyer came to the door, the husband went out, and *** decided to sell the pig. Unexpectedly, he received fake money, and he was about to commit suicide out of hesitation.
Wang couldn't bear it after hearing this, and gave her twice as much silver as the price of the pig. *** After returning home, I told my husband what happened. Her husband suspected that she was lying and took her to find Wang. When they arrived at the inn, Wang had already closed the door and went to bed. Her husband asked *** to knock on the door.
Wang asked in the room: "Who is it?" *** said: "I am the woman who threw herself into the river, and I came here to thank you!" Wang heard this and said seriously: " It's not appropriate for a man and a woman to meet each other late at night. If you want to thank me, it won't be too late to come with your husband tomorrow morning!" ***'s husband heard this and said quickly: "We are here together." Wang. When I heard that they were here together, I got dressed and got up.
As soon as he opened the door, he heard a "boom" in the room. Looking back, he saw that the earthen wall of the guest room had collapsed due to continuous rain, and his bed was crushed to pieces. Wang was shocked. If he hadn't gotten up in time, he would have died long ago. Wang not only escaped this disaster, but also lived a smooth life in the future. He had eleven sons and lived to the age of ninety-six without any illness or disaster.
The ancients believed that "people's fate is destined by heaven", and also believed that "good deeds can accumulate blessings, and virtue can change fate". The so-called "human heart is the greatest feng shui, and kindness is the best feng shui."
