Wenfeng Pagoda, commonly known as Bangchui Pagoda, is located on Baota Mountain (also known as Bangchui Mountain and Chaoshan) in the west of Yangjialing, Mengshan Township, 55 kilometers southeast of Pingyao County, Jinzhong City. County-level cultural relics protection unit.

The construction date of Wenfeng Pagoda is unknown. It is said to have been built in the Yuan Dynasty, and some say it was built in the Ming Dynasty. The tower is nine meters high, with a seven-story solid brick structure with dense eaves. The base is octagonal and the body and temples are all conical. In the summer of 1938, the First Division of the 169th Division of the Chinese Army fought fiercely with the Japanese invaders on Bangchui Mountain, and half of Wenfeng Tower was blown away.

Wenfeng Pagoda (also known as Wenfeng Pagoda) is the highest ancient pagoda in Pingyao. The pagoda is an octagonal, seven-story solid brick structure with dense eaves. The ancient pagoda before restoration in 2015 was renovated by Pingyao squire Ji Rizhang and others in the first year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It is said that the bricks used to build the pagoda were carried on sheep and driven up by the sheep one after another. The base of the tower is octagonal, and the top of the tower is conical. In 1938, artillery shells from the Japanese invaders destroyed the southwest side of the tower. Fortunately the tower was not blown down.
