Is cuckoo a tree?

Rhododendron is not a tree, but a plant of Ericaceae. Rhododendron originated in China, and is now widely planted in temperate and subtropical regions of the northern hemisphere, mainly distributed in East Asia and Southeast Asia, especially in Hengduan Mountain area in southwest China.

Appearance characteristics of rhododendron

Rhododendrons look like the following two points:

1. Rhododendrons are generally clustered. Each cluster usually consists of 3-5 flowers. The flowers are funnel-shaped and rich in color, including red, white, yellow and pink. 2. In addition, the stamens of rhododendron are very long and protrude from the center of petals.

The characteristics of azaleas are mainly divided into several points:

1. There are many branches, and the branches are thin and dense. 2. Leaves have various shapes. Different varieties of rhododendrons have different leaf shapes, which usually bloom first and then grow leaves. 3. Various colors. Common azaleas are purple, red, yellow, pink and white.

Where was the cuckoo born?

Rhododendron likes a cool, humid and ventilated semi-cool environment, which is neither heat-resistant nor cold-resistant. It is best to grow under scattered light. If the light is too strong, the young leaves are easy to be burned, and the leaves are scorched, which can lead to the death of rhododendrons in severe cases. The suitable temperature for the growth of rhododendron is 12-25. When the temperature is higher than 35℃ in summer, the new shoots and leaves grow slowly and enter a semi-dormant state. At this time, it is necessary to do a good job of sun protection and shading, and pay attention to keeping warm and cold in winter.
