First, how do ordinary people go to the court to attend?

1, ordinary people go to the court to attend as follows:

(1) There will be relevant court opening announcements in official website or on the bulletin board, and you can see the information of recent court sessions. 18 years of age or older, with a citizen's ID card, can attend the people's court. You need to make an appointment in advance. Make an appointment with your ID card.

(2) If the number of spectators is particularly large, the side hearing will be generally conducted by drawing lots and shaking numbers, or the parties and their close relatives and people related to the case will be given priority to attend.

2. Legal basis: Article 137th of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

The people's courts shall hear civil cases in public, except those involving state secrets, personal privacy or otherwise provided by law.

Divorce cases and cases involving commercial secrets may be heard in private upon the application of the parties.

When trying civil cases, the people's courts conduct circuit trials as necessary and handle cases on the spot.

Article 139

When trying a civil case, the people's court shall notify the parties and other participants in the proceedings three days before the hearing. If the hearing is held in public, the names of the parties, the cause of action, the time and place of the hearing shall be announced.
