Essay about a trip to Ningbo

Under the scorching sun, I waited at the entrance of the A7 highway. Because this time it was a self-driving tour, so I had to wait. As soon as I got in the car, the cold space instantly calmed me down.

Convert A7 to A6, then to A4. Half an hour later I saw the sign: Hangzhou Bay Bridge 35673 meters. The highlight of this trip - Hangzhou Bay Bridge appeared in front of us. On the bridge, the purple railings suddenly appeared in front of me. Yes, the bridge is also known as the Rainbow Bridge. The color of the railings changes every 5 kilometers. If you go up the bridge from Ningbo, you will see the changes of "red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple", and the opposite is true for the Shanghai bridge. In fact, this bridge cannot be called a cross-sea bridge, because the water under the bridge is not the complete sea, but the transfer and mixing of river water and sea water. It is located at the junction of the Qiantang River and the East China Sea, but I know that it is currently the longest bridge in the world and embodies the efforts of our sons and daughters of the Chinese nation.

There is fog on the bridge today. The further we go towards Ningbo, the more foggy it becomes. The situation under the bridge cannot be clearly seen on both sides, but a few "small boats" can be vaguely seen passing by. The bridge deck shrouded in fog is faintly visible. Looking forward, the bridge in the distance looks like a giant dragon hovering in the sky, making people feel like they are going to heaven. Seven-colored dragon, take off, soar in the endless sky. The descendants of Yan and Huang are strong and can overcome any difficulties with high spirits. On the bridge, mist surges from time to time, cars pass by, and so do my moods. The color of the railings keeps changing, gradually reaching the south of the bridge. I checked the time and it only took an hour to get to Cixi from my place of residence. I remembered that at the same time last year, I went to Cixi, which took more than four hours. Compared with now, it is really a world of difference.

The car left the bridge and continued to drive in the direction of Ningbo, switching between high-speed and high-speed, and finally arrived at the first stop, "Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carvings Park". It is located on the northeast side of Dongqian Lake, the "West Lake" of Ningbo. Dongqian Lake is a famous scenic spot in eastern Zhejiang. Its natural scenery and cultural monuments complement each other. There are ten scenic spots in Qianhu Lake such as Tao Gong Diaoji. It was praised by Guo Moruo as "the scenery of the West and the spirit of Taihu Lake." Among its cultural monuments are the stone carvings of the Southern Song Dynasty. The group is the most brilliant and can be called a national treasure. It occupies a very important position in the history of Chinese stone carving art.

The fine stone carvings of China’s past dynasties are basically concentrated in Buddhist grottoes and emperors’ tombs, but the Southern Song Dynasty is an exception. The emperors of the Southern Song Dynasty who lived in the south of the Yangtze River all dreamed of resting in the Song Dynasty Mausoleum in Gong County, Henan Province, with their ancestors, the Seven Emperors of the Northern Song Dynasty. Therefore, the six mausoleums built by the Southern Song Dynasty royal family in Shaoxing were all hastily built temporary residences, and the construction was relatively simple. They were named "Zan Palace" and they aimed to return to the north to the Central Plains. They did not leave any grand mausoleum stone carvings that could represent the style of this era. This gap happened to be replaced by the tombs of the prime ministers of the Southern Song Dynasty. The stone carvings of the tombs of the prime ministers of the Southern Song Dynasty in the Dongqian Lake Stone Carvings Group have become the largest, most numerous, and most exquisitely carved tomb stone carvings in the Southern Song Dynasty in my country. A blank in the history of cultural relics, archaeology and sculpture art. The stone carvings of the Yuan and Ming Dynasties are also important objects for studying the officials, clothes, carvings, tombs and other contents of the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.

Dongqian Lake and its surrounding areas are the location of the cemeteries of the four most important prime ministers of the Southern Song Dynasty. Shi Hao, Shi Miyuan, Zheng Qingzhi, and Shi Songzhi. The political careers of these four prime ministers almost covered the history of the Southern Song Dynasty. The five eras of Zong, Xiaozong, Guangzong, Ningzong, and Lizong were precisely the five most important eras in the history of the Southern Song Dynasty. Since then, starting from the Duzong era, the Southern Song Dynasty was in decline, and it quickly came to a miserable end in the last 14 years. The four prime ministers buried by Dongqian Lake are all from Yinxian County, and three of the prime ministers named Shi are descendants of three generations. Therefore, the Shi family in Yinxian County has the unique honor of "three prime ministers in one family, and two kings in four generations". The stone carvings displayed in the Southern Song Dynasty Stone Carvings Museum today basically come from the cemeteries of the three prime ministers of the Shi family and their families.

Dongqian Hunan Song Dynasty Stone Carvings was one of the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council in June 20XX. The Dongqian Hunan Song Dynasty Stone Carvings Museum was built as a result and is located on the east bank of Dongqian Lake. Among the deep forests and green valleys at the foothills of Huangmei Mountain, it was built with the relatively well-preserved tomb of Shi Jian, the cousin of Shi Hao, the Prime Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, as the core and slightly spreading out to the surroundings. The scenery here is beautiful, with Qinglong Mountain on the left and Baihu Mountain on the right. There is a small valley in front of the flat land, with the gurgling Shangshui River flowing through it. Facing the rolling Longkou Mountain (Anshan) covered with greenery and mist, it is very consistent with the ancient Chinese culture. The principle of "Feng Shui Kanyu".

Tourist resort facilities such as a botanical garden, a Chinese forest museum, and a forest resort will soon be built around the museum, which will form the most unique and beautiful tourist route in Dongqian Lake that combines nature and humanity harmoniously. The museum covers an area of 6.7 hectares and is composed of indoor and outdoor exhibitions as well as numerous surrounding stone carving distribution points. They mainly include the ground stone carvings from the tombs of the famous Shi family in the Southern Song Dynasty and the group of ground stone carvings from the tombs of Yu Youding, the young master and crown prince in the Ming Dynasty. Among them, there are more than 140 stone carvings from the Southern Song Dynasty. It consists of four stone carvings in front of the tomb including Shi Miyuan's tomb passage. These tomb passages range from 50 meters to hundreds of meters in length and are relatively complete in existence. The location of the tomb passage is based on the principles of Kanyuology. It is close to mountains and rivers, and the two sides are according to the royal etiquette system. From bottom to top, there are generally Shinto squares, stalagmites, stone drums, stone sheep (stone tigers), stone horses, military commanders, and civil servants facing each other in order. . The stone carvings have moderate proportions, smooth lines, and are exquisite and expressive; the military generals wear helmets and armor, holding swords in both hands, showing their majesty and solemnity; the civil servants wear crowns and robes, holding sabers in both hands, and are quiet and reserved; the stone horses wear saddles and reins, standing upright; the stone tigers crouch Keep your head high, ears open and eyes open. The saddle and other places are also decorated with patterns such as entangled peonies and waves of sea animals, expressing beautiful images. The stone carvings achieve the perfect unity of realism and romanticism, and provide valuable material for researching Shi's illustrious family lineage and the history of the Southern Song Dynasty. There are more than 40 stone carvings belonging to the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, mainly the stone carvings in front of Yu Youding's tomb. The whole group of stone carvings is complete and majestic. Especially the pillar, which is 10 meters high and has a crouching horse at the top, is powerful and exquisitely carved. It is relatively rare among the existing Ming Dynasty tombs in my country.

The stone carvings are very exquisite, attracting the guests' footsteps. Although it is hot, they listen carefully to the explanation. The lush trees on the mountain add a sense of wildness to us. We are wandering in the time and space of the Southern Song Dynasty, breathing the rare fresh air in the reinforced concrete forest, and from time to time, the sound of birds chirping in our ears, how comfortable life is.

After the afternoon tour, we walked towards the hotel, looking at the city outside the window, we felt inexplicably fond of the city of Ningbo. The fashion is mixed with the small bridges and flowing water of Jiangnan, and the exquisiteness of Jiangnan. I am always surprised by the greenery and sculptures everywhere. I wonder how crystal clear and brilliant the Tianyi Square in Sanjiangkou will be at night? How wonderful and vicissitudes have the century-old Old Bund been?

At night, looking out the window, the colorful lights make me feel like I am still in Shanghai...
