How to adjust the time of a mechanical watch (clockwise or counterclockwise)?

Hold the watch in your left hand, with the face of the dial facing you, and the position of 12 is up;

Turn the crown with your right hand, and the crown needs to be pulled out (slightly pulled out):

Turn the crown upward with your thumb (clockwise)-adjust the time.

Turn the crown downward with your thumb (counterclockwise)-adjust the date.

Note: For a large three-hand watch without a calendar, you can adjust the time in this way.

Suggestion:

First, adjust the calendar to the previous day, pull the crown to the second gear (fully pulled out), and turn the crown upward (clockwise). After the hour hand turns for 24 hours, the calendar will automatically jump to the correct date, and then continue to adjust the correct time today.

Never adjust the calendar, day of the week and phase of the moon between 2 1:00-3:00. During this period, the calendar function is working, and when the gear engagement is low, frequent actions will damage the internal parts of the watch. If you need to adjust the date, first adjust the calendar to the day before the target date, and then turn the clockwise to adjust the date. At that time, when the pointer passes 12 midnight, the date will automatically jump to avoid confusion between day and night caused by direct adjustment of the date.
