What does it mean to cancel the quarter resurrection system in judo competition?

Judo competition adopts the system of single defeat, elimination and resurrection. By drawing lots, judo athletes were divided into two half areas, A and B, and each half area was divided into two groups, A 1, A2 and B 1 and B2. The elimination system will produce two winners.

The top three athletes in the World Championships will participate in their own Olympic Games at the level of seed players.

All judo players who were defeated by the winners of A 1, A2, B 1 and B2 will participate in the revival of their respective groups. For example, the first player defeated by the winner of A 1 will compete with the second player defeated by the winner of A 1, and the winner will compete with the third player defeated by the winner of A 1. The winner of group A 1 will play the final of the resurrection match with the winner of group A2.

The two winners of the Resurrection Finals will compete with the other half of the losers for the bronze medal (two bronze medal winners).

The winners of Group A and Group B will compete for gold and silver medals.
