Sun Moon Lake is located in Shuishe Village, Yuchi Township, Nantou County, at the northern foot of Alishan Mountain, with a high Shan Zhinan. As early as the Qing Dynasty, it was well-known and known as "a hole in the sky overseas".
Sun Moon Lake is the largest natural lake in Taiwan Province Province, which is formed by water accumulated in Yushan and Alishan fault basins.
