Is Hangzhou south or north?

Hangzhou is located in the south of the Huaihe River Line in Qinling Mountains and belongs to the southern region.

The geographical coordinates of Hangzhou are11821'-kloc-0/2030' and 291'-3033' north latitude. The geographic coordinates of the city center are 120 12' east longitude and 30 16' north latitude.

The city origin (zero kilometer sign) is located at the coordinate origin of Weizi Garden in Shangcheng District. The coordinate origin of Weizi Garden is the center of Hangzhou from 19 13. Buildings, roads, water systems and places of interest in a city can all indicate their orientation and distance from the origin.

Hangzhou is located in the southern edge of the Yangtze River Delta and Qiantang River Basin, with complex and diverse topography.
