How many years does Casuarina equisetifolia 10 cm DBH take?

Normal should take 7-8 years.

Because of the different site conditions and tree growth quality, the difference is extremely significant. For example, Casuarina equisetifolia clones 50 1 and Pingtan 2, which grow on alluvial sandy soil, have an average tree height of 20 meters and an average DBH of 20 cm when they are 8 years old.

Casuarina equisetifolia is an ideal tree species for afforestation in coastal saline-alkali land because of its salt tolerance, wind damage, fast growth and good material. But can it grow on acidic soil in low mountains? We conducted a special survey. The investigation results show that Casuarina equisetifolia grows very rapidly in low altitude and fertile mountainous areas with pH value of 5.0~6.0. 14-year-old Casuarina equisetifolia has an average tree height of more than15m (the highest is19.3m) and an average DBH of more than 22cm (the thickest is 26cm). At the peak of 230-250 meters above sea level, the pH value is 5.5, and the growth of Casuarina equisetifolia is better than that of Pinus thunbergii and Cunninghamia lanceolata of the same age, whether in the tuyere or in the leeward. For example, under the same site conditions, the height growth of 7-year-old Casuarina equisetifolia is more than twice that of black pine. The average height and DBH of 9-year-old Casuarina equisetifolia planted on the dry and thin hillside with pH value of 5 (soil depth of 20 cm) are 65,438+00 m and 65,438+02.8 cm. However, under the same site conditions, the average height of 9-year-old Pinus massoniana is only 5.2 m and DBH is 8 cm.

The average heights of/kloc-0 annual stand, 2-year stand and 3-year stand are about 2~3m, 4~6m and 2~4~7cm respectively.
