A little practice writing about weather changes
Some time ago, the sun shone fiercely on us. It was so hot that I could hardly breathe. But in the past few days, it has suddenly become so cool. Why? I'm really confused.
This morning, my father came back from grocery shopping and bought a newspaper and put it on the table. I had breakfast, flipping through the newspaper, and accidentally discovered the reason for the change in the weather. It turns out that there are two major weather systems that affect us throughout the year: one is the cold air from the north, and the other is the subtropical high pressure from the south. Winter is controlled by cold air, and when subtropical high pressure prevails, the weather is often sunny and hot.
The continuous high-temperature days in the past few days were caused by the subtropical high pressure firmly controlling the Jiangnan region. But the two weather systems are not so clearly distinguished. In winter, subtropical high pressure sometimes affects us indirectly; conversely, in summer, small waves of weak cold air occasionally come over.
So, you will feel that it will not be cold from beginning to end in winter, and it will occasionally be cool for a few days in summer. I finally realized how changeable the weather is. I love our earth and its wonderful changes. . . . . .
