Wenjingjiang Town is located in the northwest of Chongzhou City. It is located in a mountainous area and belongs to the middle reaches of Wenjing River. It borders Huaiyuan Town to the east, Jinxing Township of Dayi County to the south, Jiguanshan Township to the west, and Jiguanshan Township to the north.
