The origin of the Millennium

Millennium is one of the 24 solar terms of the lunar calendar. When the sun reaches 165 degrees, it is called the Millennium solar term. Millennium is the third solar term in autumn, marking the end of Qiu Meng and the beginning of Mid-Autumn Festival. As the weather is getting colder and colder, the sun is still very hot during the day. As soon as the sun returns to the mountains, the temperature drops rapidly. At night, the water vapor in the air condenses to form tiny water droplets, which are very densely attached to the green stems and leaves or petals of flowers and trees, showing white color. Especially after the morning sunshine, it looks more crystal clear, white and flawless, which is really attractive, so it has won the reputation of "White Dew".

Climatic characteristics of the Millennium

After entering the Millennium solar terms, the summer monsoon is gradually replaced by the winter monsoon, the cold air turns to attack, and the warm air gradually retreats. There is a folk saying, "Autumn night in a thousand years, one night is cold." "One autumn rain is cold, and ten autumn rains wear cotton." "After drinking the Millennium, mosquitoes shut up." When the Millennium comes, the temperature drops faster and the climate becomes dry.
