Can the new car 1000 km get on the expressway?
General 1000 km running-in mileage is enough. After reaching the mileage of 1000 km, you need to pull the highway for two minutes. The purpose of increasing speed is not running-in, but cleaning. If the running-in of the vehicle is compared to a preheating, then increasing the speed is equivalent to taking a deep breath after the vehicle is warmed up and blowing off the carbon deposits and impurities in the engine combustion chamber and exhaust system. If possible, you might as well change a new engine oil before doing this job-because the old engine oil has physical attenuation, and if you speed up, there will be a safety hazard that the oil film on the cylinder wall will be torn.
It is emphasized here that speeding up is not to improve the speed, even if you run for two minutes at 120km/h, it is not a task. Instead, the accelerator is required to be frequently turned on to 100% in about two minutes, that is, "floor oil" frequently, and the speed swings back and forth between 3500 and 6000 rpm. It must be noted that the engine speed must not exceed the red line-this is especially important for some models without red line protection device. In fact, in the case of 60km/h, the task of speeding up can also be completed-of course, this is related to the gearbox of the vehicle. For manual gear and manual mode or low-speed mode gearbox, you can use the way of engaging resistance gear or low gear-for example, engaging second gear at 60 km/h.
In fact, the running-in of the car also has a speed-up part, which requires higher requirements. The racers will start from 1 gear and pull the speed to 7000 rpm in each gear one by one. In technical terms, it is "the effective speed range is running through", so that the driving will be smooth enough. Considering the differences between racing cars and civilian cars, driving safety and other factors, it is not recommended to use racing running-in for civilian cars.
